FS: 949Racing Gen1 Xidas
550/350 lbs spring rates with helpers
No tophats included in sale, I need them to put my stock suspension back on. $1800 https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.n...51416647e4754b https://scontent-a-sea.xx.fbcdn.net/...3a&oe=5548A9A2 https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.n...0f7ad8575a00c3 |
These always seem to go fast. Putting number of miles and if they are street or track miles will help with the sell.
|
Goddammit, why you gotta sell these while I'm broke? :vash:
GLWS, someone is going to be very happy with these.

GLWS, someone is going to be very happy with these. +1 to everything in the above. Pics will also help dramatically. This is what tax returns are for right? :bowrofl: |
Does the list price include shipping?

Bump!
If these do not sell I am keeping them hence why they are still in the car. https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.n...51416647e4754b https://scontent-a-sea.xx.fbcdn.net/...3a&oe=5548A9A2 https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.n...0f7ad8575a00c3 |

Ok, so these do obviously have the helpers, but no upper mounts, correct?
What exactly are the differences between these Gen1s and the current Xidas? |

What exactly are the differences between these Gen1s and the current Xidas? Differences are probably best for Emilio to address, but from what I gather: Post #13 |

Perfect, thanks guys. Props to all. :bigtu:

Monday bump! Where are those tax refunds at?!
|
Can you expand on why these are worth nearly the same as a brand new set of Gen 2 coil-overs? Is there something special about them? How many miles? What year were they purchased? Is shipping included? Why are you getting new suspension?

you gotta read. 6500 miles, shipping not included, and hes putting stockers in.
|
I also questioned the price compared to a new set of 2nd generations. I tried to search for comp's online, can't find any first generation ones that have sold since the second generation release to compare. There's a good wait for the new ones though right? That makes a difference. Supply and demand.
|
OP did agree with the no shipping included statement if you look through again. My guess reason for going to back to stock is selling the car.

You're right, I should have picked through every post for the mileage. The rude shipping comment wasn't made by the OP, so that is still unclear. As for your your last comment, I didn't ask what suspension he is putting in, I asked WHY he is changing.

Not offended by ad, GLWS;)
|
The rude reply about the shipping, was a turn off for me. The noob just asked a question

I have yet to see someone crying about something in a public for sale ad and the seller reducing price as a result. He's obviously selling a quality part, if you're truly interested you will pm and discuss. Crying and insulting MT will just make us thrust harder. PS: I was briefly in agreement with you (mostly because I thought they were 1900 brand new too) but then you stepped over the line. |
There should be some sort of alarm when your neg prop count to post ratio begins to approach 1:1 ;)
I'm interested, but I'm having a real hard time justifying it right now. Too much other stuff needs to come first and only a limited budget. GLWS, I feel like these will make someone very happy. |

Didn't mean to make you guys mad. I was just inquiring about the coilovers. The only bitterness I was feeling came from telling a newb to shut up for asking a legit question like shipping, then basically being told to f-off for asking relevant questions. Sorry for that? I guess I'll just go away.. OP GLWS. I hope these guys don't bully your next potential buyer.

I would just do your homework on the retail costs. I know they are a used item but its not like I'm selling something that's pissing oil out the side or the shafts are scored to shit.
If you don't think its worth it then move on, no big deal. What really pissed me off was the whole "why are these priced close to retail?" Because they are not and it seems like you want coilovers for $1. |

Classifieds are supposed to be kept free of crap and bickering. GLWS, once people start getting tax money back from uncle sam these might get sold. They are a very reasonable price. |

No, shipping isn't included, he already went over this so the price is definitely $1 + shipping. This is a pretty sweet deal (not the dollar but the actual price) but I don't have the top hats or my tax money back yet. GLWS |

I just shipped a set of Bilsteins for $17. Shipping shouldn't be an issue if the OP needs to sell them in a hurry. I don't see $17 killing a deal for either party. granted if you are going to insure them at face value then shipping should be higher.
