Hellz Yeah! ROTC. The army is gonna give me 40K signing bonus, plus 10K a year for school, plus over 600 bucks a month for rent and food. And I get to stay at UCF until I graduate with my ME degree. Then I can go into the Corps of Engineers as a 2nd luitenant or join the guard.

I thought about doing something like that. Im also majoring ME, but I want to attend law school afterward. Although that offer sounds tempting how many years do you have to serve after you graduate??

You can do 4 years as an officer or 4 years in the guard. They have alot of requirements that you have to make though, weight, grades, etc. Thats why I have been slimin' down the past year. 90 pounds gone and 50 to go :giggle:

I used to wrestle, lift wieghts competively and play football all at heavy weight in high school. So I was used to being huge. Then I had a 2 buldging and compressed disks in my back. Then came 2 years of physical therapy and surgery. All that plus 0 exercise means I go from 250 to 330+. Now that I am done with therapy, I went from 330+ back down to 247 were I am at right now. Sorry for the long speech, it's just easier to explain it that way. And yes I did drive the miata at 330+ pounds.

Bro I feel you on the grades. I taking 6 classes this semester and dropped it to 3 and now I am passing 2 and taking an incomplete on 1. Things happen man and it's hard to seperate your personal life from your school life.
