FS: Hard Dog "The Deuce" Roll Bar NJ

Bar is used but in great condition. All hardware pieces were either purchased new from Bethania-Garage by me or never used by the PO. It looks like The PO only used the seatbelt mounts to mount it in his car. Center Braced Black Powdercoat with same piping diameter as all their hardcore bars. (1.75 X .120 inch DOM)

Just trying to make my money back on this one.

$325 Picked-Up

I really would prefer not to ship but if your willing to pay why not. Looking at around $80 for shipping.

Little Dusty but you get the idea:

Pics, I am interested. Are these center or side braced? Hard to install? Will they clear the cross member in my 97 that runs behind the seats?

Pics are up in the original post. It's a little dusty from sitting in my back room but you get the idea. Also check out this page to answer all your other questions:

Center braced Deuce compatible only with OEM 1999 - 2005 size converitble top glass rear windows or aftermarket windows of the same size and shape as the 1999 - 2005 Mazda rear window.
What about this?

MikeRiv87 02-20-2008 10:26 PM

Do you have an aftermarket top with glass window? If so measure how wide it is and i will check if it fits between the two bars.

That cross member doesn't do anything compared to when you have this bolted in. I'm pretty sure you toss that after the install.

disturbedfan121 02-20-2008 10:39 PM

hmmm...interesting lol

Saml01 02-20-2008 10:40 PM

I got a 97 with the plastic rear window but I also have the brace that runs behind the rear seats.

Bryan, If you want it, take it.

MikeRiv87 02-20-2008 10:42 PM

Oh... if you have a plastic window than you good to go. That * is just to note what size glass windows will fit in between the center braced bar. Also like i said this brace will stiffen your chassis a thousand times better than the stock rear brace. Just unbolt it and sell it to some pre 94' owner who doesn't have one and thinks it does something.

Saml01 02-20-2008 10:46 PM

Hmmmmmmm.

So tempting, But if Bryan wants it then he should have it.

MikeRiv87 02-20-2008 10:49 PM

I don't think byran wants it... Bryan?

Saml01 02-20-2008 10:51 PM

disturbedfan121.

I need to think about this. I know I shouldnt think because its a crazy deal, but I just really really really dont want to shell out another 325 right now.

MikeRiv87 02-20-2008 11:00 PM

no I know bryan all to well that's why I'm going with he doesnt actually want it and is saying that this is interesting for some other reason.

I have heard of instances in which highly skilled golf cart mechanics that work as techs at exclusive country clubs with expertise in miata rollbar fabrication/install have successfully performed this task with minimal parts left over.
