Interested in HKS bov, and BOTH steering wheels. Waiting on pics. You have PM.

madnutta 10-05-2007 09:51 PM

Interested in the Injectors...

How close are you to City of Industry?
I'll be there at the end of the month for a couple days of meetings.
28-31
Not sure if I'm coming into LAX...

Any local meets going on around there?

zoom2zoom 10-06-2007 02:22 AM

pics of the hks bypass would help, as it may not be the real deal. is it a left or right side discharge model?

Dow.tom 10-06-2007 07:48 AM

i'll pay for the wheel right now. either one... probable the black one. IT doesnt need an adapter does it?

UrbanSoot 10-08-2007 03:19 AM

sorry everyone i wasnt able to respond to any messages. i went to HIN in vegas yesterday and when i woke up this morning (well, 5:30pm) i felt really sick. i will reply to everyones messages when i have a little bit more energy.

Braineack 10-08-2007 08:46 AM

can I get a pic of both the wheels?

Zabac 10-08-2007 11:58 AM

i've had a grant/pilot wheel for a few years now, not the greatest quality but it actually does the job...only thing is it wore on top due to lack of PS as i have to use some extra humph when i turn the wheel, other than that they are a bit soft, but for the money, you will really appreciate the extra leg room
dow.tom -yes you need an adapter im sure, mine did, but they are cheap, just make sure you do not strip the allen bolts, PITA

UrbanSoot 10-08-2007 01:34 PM

pics are coming up tonight when i get home from work.

you can say that... it is very short so if you feed it something from one end it is sure to come out the other end in short period of time.

Arkmage 10-08-2007 08:41 PM

still no pics... come on man. I do believe I've called first dibs on the steering wheels AND bov, but with no pics...

UrbanSoot 10-09-2007 12:52 PM

by the way. im selling all these to fund my new project - a robot which will DRIFT!!!

yes! thats right - you will load a map into its solid state hard drive and it will run this map and drift through corners automatically trying to get best speed and angle. complete AI. hopefully it will be gas powered too!

right now im building a first prototype for my robot family. "bender". he drives around and soon will recognize voice and do whatever you tell it to. speech recognition rules :)

You've got me thinking here... Technically, such a device could be legal in SoloII A-Modified.

UrbanSoot 10-10-2007 05:45 PM

i dont think i would want to put it on a track with real cars around it. someone WILL drive over it!

UrbanSoot 10-10-2007 09:10 PM

Is it $30 with shipping? If not, lemme know how much it is to ship to 35801 and I'll send you the money... as soon as you let me know how many you have of each

UrbanSoot 10-10-2007 11:35 PM

$50 shipped. there are mostly 2" couplers (about 7-10 or so. maybe more), few 2.5" couplers, several 2" t-bolt clamps, i think i saw one or 2 2.5" t-bolt clamps, and then whole bunch of regular 2" and 2.5" clamps. all of this is brand new.

also i have several 2.5" 90* bends (18" i believe)

Arkmage 10-12-2007 12:05 AM

is that FPR a 1:1 or simply a static regulator? I'm looking for a method to stretch the capability of some 460s.
