Default Ebay'er - Racing Lifestyle

Anyone know/heard of the 'Racing Lifestyle' ebay'er ?
Appears to have caused an upset or two on this side of the pond.
I purchased some flares nearly 3 weeks ago from them and haven't received anything yet, I sent emails and haven't received a reply.
It seems I could be on the same road as some of the UK guys, communication seems to be very bad across to this side of the pond or something.

They are a vendor on CR.net.. I ordered a NRG QR from him and it took a long time to get it. Didn't respond to my emails, and just as I was about to start really complaining the part showed up.

Seems like a small timer who doesn't take customer service seriously enough. I'm glad he only had $100 of my money.

Start a thread at CR.net and jack him up. Do a search first to see if there are any other threads bashing him. Bad publicity usually always gets you some communication.

Here is their website:
http://www.racinglifestyle.com/index2.html

A quick Google search reveals nothing bad.

Took almost 3 weeks to get my steering wheel. Didn't answer any emails, I sent messages via AOL instant messenger to his phone, didnt get much in the way of how long/where my steering wheel was, he was always "looking into it."

It finally showed up. I've ordered twice from him. First time **** came fas as hell. Second time, it took forever.

There's a big thread on CR.net about it. It's a ****-storm.

Here is the thread:

Long story short, this Racing Lifestyle person attempted to send a set of wheels to the UK via USPS, doh.

Crap !
There is another thread on www.mx5nutz.com in the UK which I have 'updated'.
I will give him until the 3 weeks are up, even though I usually get stuff from the US within 2. The 3 weeks are up at the end of this week, then I suppose the **** wil have to start flying.

Think I may have just gotten burnt by another Ebay'er called Eurotuning1 to the sum of over 300 euro.
Seems his account was closed by Ebay 6 days after I placed my order. Got the notification from Ebay about the account but must wait until Thursday to start gettnig my cash back as his listing said delivery can take up to 3 weeks.

I ordered some other stuff from the US (TAFTVILLE, CT) on the 17th July and it is now in Ireland, I should have it tomorrow.
Pity I can't have my other stuff :(

I have sent Racing Lifestyle one last email, that makes 3 emails in total since my purchase on Ebay. I have read that post on Cr.net and have signed up just to respond to that thread, which I will be doing after the three weeks are up.

I ordered a quick release from him and after a month and a half of short answer or non answered emails, I filed a dispute with Paypal and had my money refunded.

I just got an email, he said the items were shipped the week I ordered them which was nearly three weeks ago.
Still, if I can get a big bulky item from the states I ordered last week today I should be able to get the parts from him within 3 weeks.
I'll wait and see.

Well, I've got no reply so I have just opened a dispute with PayPal
I actually opened two disputes since I had to send the cost of the shipping in another payment.
I also put in...
"Discovered a week after purchasing the Ebay items that the seller has a reputation online for selling items on Ebay, receiving the payments for the items, items not been received by the buyer, and then the buyer is given a paritial refund (ie less P&P) after a duration which can be in excess of over four months".
Even if he gives me a full refund I'm notifying Ebay about this guy

I have seen his ads, I avoid people who use the same photos for repeat auctions.

Got an email from him within 10 minutes of starting the PayPal dispute, he said he'll send me out another set and this time there will be a tracking number.
I emailed him saying I just want my money back, I didn't get a reply.

I messaged him on ebay saying he has a declining reputation on the forums.

This sucks... what am I dealing with here a Fn spastic ?
What a way to do business. I haven't received any response from him about a refund.
This is how he's been with other buyers, stringing them along with NO communication... for weeks etc.

What kind of bullshit is this? Apparently as long s you sponsor a forum noone is allowed to share any bad experiences they have with you publicly.

Looks like Boostin Boy should've sponsored here
