FS: RX-7 8" LSD units- 2 Torsens and 1 Turbo 2 clutch pack LSD
I put an 8.8" IRS Cobra Mustang diff in my RX-7 and no longer need these spare parts.
I have 2 units from a 1993 Mazda RX-7 FD: 2 factory Torsen units fit 8" ring gears. This is the LSD unit only and no gears/housing etc. It does come with the bearing races. In good used condition with around 100K miles on them. $200 shipped each to the lower 48 states 1 1986 RX-7 Turbo2 LSD (clutch pack style) fits 8" ring gears. It is the LSD unit only. No gears/housing/etc. There are people pushing 800hp+ thru these. Basically a factory style KAZZ unit that isn't adjustable but $600 cheaper. I've pushed over 600 ft/lbs thru one of these myself on slicks with no issues. Includes bearing races as well $200 shipped to the lower 48 states. gnx7@hotmail.com is my email. Please email me as I don't visit this site much. BTW- I'm "gnx7" on rx7club.com, v8rx7forum.com, ls1tech.com, ih8mud.com and a few others with Zero bad feedback. Thank you, Mark |

that's clearly abusing the post limit for accessing the classifieds. come back in two weeks. |
still available. Only works with 8" ring gears.
If you need a 7" ring gear then you need an n/a RX-7 LSD. '86-88 were all clutch pack style. '89-91 was viscous style (sp?); however not as strong. n/a is 7" and turbo style are 8" ring gears. |
Is this your "Meet and Greet" thread, abuser?

Just an FYI- I paid 100 shipped for my FD Torsen on the club, but the TII S4 diff is priced to sell at 200 (I sold mine for 225 shipped)

I've actually never posted in the Meet and Greet section SixShooter. ;)

he outlasted the ban. I'm shocked.
caveat emptor I guess |
I also have a complete Series 4 aka S4 RX-7 Turbo 2 rear diff with stub axles (inner axles). This has the T2 LSD clutch pack style unit, 4:10 R/P gears, long snout style pinion gear and of course the complete diff housing. Very very heavy duty and can handle well beyond 600hp reliably in just about any race condition. You would need axles to mate up to it ie mate up to the outer CV's and make it work in a Miata. I do not have the T2 axles to mate up to this.
It weighs 80lbs+ and is beefy. 8" ring gear. $225 plus shipping |
Miataroadster can set someone up with hubs that will work with stock TII axles in a Miata

all parts have been sold
thx |
