I really want the TorSen.

EDIT:

Or...if someone local to me wants this to replace their 4.10 TorSen...then you have a local buyer for that piece to make the upgrade easier on the wallet.

Nagase 09-08-2009 04:16 PM

Added price, 900$ for the torsen + shipping. Searched all around, seems like a fair price.

Nagase 09-09-2009 04:17 PM

Toren is SOLD! Transmission still up for now!

ripracer 09-09-2009 05:33 PM

Damn I sold my torsen way too cheap. I sold 3.9 2003 torsen diff, axles, and driveshaft for $450

And on another forum, somewhere out there... there's a post bragging about the deal someone got on a torsen.

ripracer 09-09-2009 05:55 PM

Yeah I didn't know what the stuff was going for then, I actually had it on here with a 6 speed and didn't have a whole lot of hits. I wasn't really fond of shipping.

Hopefully one day I will have some money to buy a 6 speed.

Nagase 09-09-2009 05:57 PM

Yeah, if you don't ship, you've just taken away about 99% of your buyers. :/

ripracer 09-09-2009 06:02 PM

I hate to keep cluttering up your thread but the 6 speed weighs less than 100lbs so shipping it with greyhound is a really cheap option. I put an rb25 tranny in one of those rubber made tubs with the great stuff expanding foam to protect it and it worked out great, that was through UPS though b/c it was 135lbs.

Looking back now that would be a good way to ship the diff too. How do you ship larger items like these?

Nagase 09-09-2009 06:05 PM

Just fedex, honestly. At least for the diff. The six speed weighs 89.5 lbs.

I just shipped a 100lbs trans for 80 dollars through UPS form IL to AZ its not that bad.

miatauser884 09-10-2009 09:40 PM

I had a six speed shipped in a box wrapped in bubble wrap for $55 through UPS. Put in box and surround it with trash bags. Then put expanding foam in bags.

Nagase 09-20-2009 05:05 AM

Answering a question: Yes, I do ship to Canada.

Nagase 09-23-2009 02:23 PM

Price reduction: 900$ shipped.

albumleaf 09-23-2009 03:12 PM

Maybe when you list it at a reasonable price someone will buy it.

Word.

Ship it up here for 900bux and I'll buy it, but 900 bux plus shipping is alot when you can find them for 500bux.

it's actually kind of funny to see how much theese parts go for. the summer before last i could have bought a totaled 99 six speed miata for $500 i could have doubled my money from just the head and diff not to mention the transmission. Of course that was before i had a miata.

18psi 09-27-2009 05:10 PM

900 lol.

Savington 09-27-2009 11:43 PM

Since when do we not ban people for threadshitting? If you don't like the price, don't buy it and shut the fuck up. Crapping on someone's classifieds thread, no matter how outrageous the price is, is fucking pathetic.
