This hardtop is off my moms white NB. The top is flawless, no scratches or dings. It has the defroster on the back window, and all the hardware you need to put it on your car. I will try to get pics up in a few mins. Asking $1200.

Its just not pushed over, we took it off the car this morning and I have all the screws in a bag that is in front of the top (you can kind of see the reflection of it in the first picture) But nothing is wrong with it I guess we forgot to push it back

My red has a hardtop hanging in the garage. It has ridden 300 miles out of my 86000, but I still won't part with it. I never knew the back latch opened, or is this some new-fangled thing?

I thought he was talking about the chrome thing on the bottom right in the first picture??? They all have a screw that hold them from swinging open when its on the car but to get to the bolts to secure the hartop on the car you have to undo it. What part are you talking about??

Same part, mine slides on from back to forward over the "Frankenstein" bolts, then latches with four latches inside. Didn't know you could, or needed, to open them. Must be on later models.

yeah, but you still have to slide that plate under the frankenstein bolts and tighten down the nuts. Thats why it slides open

i didn't know the plate swung open. I just lay mine down on the bolts and push forward untill it snaps in place.

Damn. Learn something new every day. If you take out the Phillips head screw, you can swing it open and access the bolts. I have just slid it on as above. You actually tighten here each time you put it on?

yeah those screws make me feel more secure about having my hardtop on instead of relying on the 4 latches. I can take pics of that stuff so you can know what you need to pick up if you want me to

I guess you can do this, but my plate thing seems like its on there tight so I just undo the hardware and keep it in a plastic bag when Im going topless

bump, if you know of someone looking let em know about it. They help a ton in the winter and I actually prefer the look of my NA with its hardtop.

Oh yeah it fits an NA or NB.
