It came with my ACT kit. I also bought one from Mazda thinking that the one with the kit would somehow be different. But little did I know that they are identical pieces, made by the same company.

Yea. Identical to the mazda piece in every way.

I wanted to go return it to mazda, wink wink, but because it was a special order part they wouldnt take it back :(. I payed 35 for it.

New shift boots for $28 would be sweet and you could definitely use them.
