Cheap COMPLETE Vmount turbo setup.. new rad, EVRYTHING included..

Must go.. questions here or PM. You will not find a more complete bolt on turbo setup.. from the AN-10 tapped oil pan, to the downpipe, to the injectors and the street tuned boost mapped safc2, to the ACT clutch. This car never made it to the dyno, but the WB02 verified safe a/f all the way at 10psi and it fried 205/40/16s like nothing on the drift course.. Only mods you need to do are hood pins and cut the rad support for the V mount. I can send you all the in progress fab pics of when i built it..

here's the list and some pics to get you going.

Turbo kit includes :
Ebay t3/t04e, .63 exh, .70comp
-4an Oil feed with restrictor
-10an Oil drain, w/ tapped oil pan
320cc 2jzge stock injectors
top mount log manifold
v band outlet pipe and downpipe to cat
adjustable FPR
SAFC2, boost mapped with MSD 3 bar MAP sensor
boost/water temp/oil pressure gauges and senders
whatever else you need to make it work, i have and will include
act clutch and pressure plate
VMOUNT setup include
Vmount intercooler
mounting bracket for rear, you will have ot make front tabs
brand new aluminum Radiator and twin fans w shroud
modded Tstat housing
all piping, tbolt clamps, couplers, etc etc to put it together

only major modification you will need to do is weld in the supports for the Rad, and two tabs on the front support. I will include the parts you need welded on, so you can bolt it to the rad and position it how you want and such.
I had a 40* temp diff on water temps drifting and cruising. never went over 200, and stayed around 160 cruising in 95* weather at like 70% humidity

basically everything you need to put a kick ass turbo and cooling setup on your car.
1500 + shipping obo.

If you part out I'll take the twin fans and shroud. Remember me. :bigtu:

na8psi 06-20-2010 05:15 AM

dibs on head and intake already (grant I spoke with you on the phone yesterday from NC)

your selling the trans too?

GrantWilson 06-20-2010 09:32 AM

yep
trans is for sale as well :)

FRT_Fun 06-20-2010 07:21 PM

Interested in just the intercooler... Or the whole vmount setup minus radiator/fan/shroud (but I'd like the mounting for the radiator).

GrantWilson 06-20-2010 07:30 PM

so go buy one. im not parting out

FRT_Fun 06-20-2010 07:35 PM

Alright dick. GLWS.

turotufas 06-20-2010 08:23 PM

I'd take fans and shroud. Come on!

GrantWilson 06-20-2010 08:24 PM

nah, rather not part it out

ARGH, why do people bother doing a V-mount and then tilt the upper unit down in the front. Doesn't anyone want to play nice with the airflow?

GrantWilson 06-20-2010 09:29 PM

lol at you

regardless of what you are thinking, it works. before the FMIC was too hot to touch on both sides, and i was getting 220* temps after hard runs
with the vmount, it is never over 200, and i can hold my hand on the cold side of hte intercooler and its still ambient. it works. that is what matters

Never said it didn't work. I just don't understand why people don't play nice with airflow and tilt them to promote it. Big ICs do a good job of cooling, no question. With mine of similar size and tilted in the "proper" direction IMO... I run ambient air temps through my IM... not under 200.... ambient.

Thats all...

GrantWilson 06-20-2010 09:39 PM

my water temps were 200 or under

intake temps are around ambient depending on number of runs before cooldown and other things

i dont have any ducting or anything yet, engine blew, so no need to finish it

na8psi 06-20-2010 09:48 PM

Miles/Condition of trans? Price?

bump for this guy

GrantWilson 06-21-2010 06:49 AM

ill have to check on mission prices. 130k on the mission IIRC (ill double check today)
after i changed the turret fluid it shifts pretty good imo

GrantWilson 06-22-2010 07:43 PM
