Default Fully Built FM Longblock 1.8. Every Option.

I am selling my Fully built long-block from my Miata. It is a 1.8 Completely assembled by Flyin' Miata with roughly 6k miles on it. Oil changed every week. Contains H-Beam Rods, and 9.1 compression pistons. Motor runs super strong. I will get specific compression #s tonight or tomorrow. I paid $9300.00 for this engine from Flyin' Miata. Im willing to negotiate, but lets start at $4500 and go from there. Only thing that stays with me is the valve cover...Im keeping it as a trophy from the car. LOL. PM me if interested.

Why would you change your oil every week?? Isn't it actually bad to change it too soon?

No, you're thinking of blinker fluid. Messes with the electrolytic balance, takes a few days for it to settle in... that's why you sometimes see cars where it's flashing really fast.

dual turbo ls1fd > turbo miata

If you were selling this car last year, I would have jumped on it.

comes with a t1 race development modified 99' intake manifold. We made 30 hp using that intake. It does not come with the turbo manifold.

If I was not trying to refinance the house, I would be making an offer. Good luck.

Trying to get AC installed in the garage too ... 1900 sq ft is going to be expensive to cool .

1BadMX5,
Can you PM me the complete specs on the motor, as well as what will be included in the sale? You say long block, but I also noticed the intake manifold will be included, are there other parts as well?

So, how about some details? (all specs on the engine, compression #s, what the engine put out and the setup you used to get those numbers, what was the car used for, who did the tuning on it and type of engine management, why are you selling it, cost of shipping to 98001, will you be putting a replacement valve cover on it or will it be up to the buyer, is the engine still in the car, would you be willing to take it to someone I trust to have it checked over, etc...) Thanks.

Brad.. What did Tony Palo do to the Intake manifold? I'm assuming he took out the butterflys and ported the crap out of it?

lol, Tony Palo wouldn't tune my car because it had megasquirt, and wouldn't work the dyno and let me work the software. He gave me his sales pitch on why he's such a great tuner, then said "I don't like megasquirt because it won't do what I need it to for a good tune."
