GB: 16x9 Miro SPT-1

I have a friend that works at EnjukuRacing here in Orlando and gave me permission to set up a little group buy type deal for some wheels we are both interested in but to get a better price we need at least 5 orders. So the wheels are 16x9 et15 Miro STP-1 available in 4x100/4x114.3. The deal is they will be dropped shipped and you will be sending the money to EnjukuRacing, not me, so there is no need for notability, I think the name speaks for itself.

http://enjukuracing.com/images/miroangle.jpg
http://www.modbargains.com/images/Pr...o/IMG_9312.jpg
Here is the URL to the wheels on Enjuku's Website

The deal is you will pay actual shipping and the wheels will not get any cheaper than $190 a wheel no matter how many orders.

It sounds funny but my buddy has a name that he wish not be disclosed, b/c it is kind of funny, but everyone calls him bg or blackguy.
Email him for anymore addition info.

2.Bayly Miley

5.

I'm not sure if we get an order of 5 and then stragglers the deal is the same or if we have to have orders of 5 or more at a time. I will find that out for sure tomorrow. Not sure if anyone will be in a hurry, but lets make a deadline date of September 29th to get in on the first order.

Wow - beautiful wheels. Any idea how much they weight? I imagine a lot of people will have that question.

deliverator 09-10-2009 09:29 AM

Are these actually 2-piece wheels, or are the screws just cosmetic?

ripracer 09-10-2009 09:38 AM

Screws are just cosmetic I assume.

Pretty sure they are 17lbs.

you can get 16x9 6uls for 190/wheel without any sort of group buy. I'll pass

gospeed81 09-10-2009 03:49 PM

Most. Unexciting. Thread. Ever.

16x9 ?!?!?!?

18psi 09-10-2009 04:37 PM

Oh my bad, it was 15x9.

mad doc 09-10-2009 05:29 PM

I take it you have to run an absurd amount of camber to get those to fit. arent those 16x9 +15?

cueball1 09-10-2009 05:58 PM

Don't know if his buddy has or can get them but these also come in +25 offset. They are also made in 16x7.5".

This is true. I will have to check to find out what the price on those would be. These are for a select few people that have this kind of sweet style. These are not meant to be the lightest wheels, the most JDM, or most baller. They are just a aggressive size and offset that is not really available, and at a pretty good price. I'm going to run 205/40 on them to start and I'm sure on stock metal will need a lot of camber, but I have an aggressive pull. I do have flares that will be going on eventually as well, 215/40.

Hi Im Simon 09-11-2009 02:54 AM

wow they look hideous.

Is there a reason?

ripracer 09-11-2009 10:43 AM

No but I have seen group buys set up before, where the guy setting it up collects all the money to then make the group purchase, only to never heard from again.

Not light, not JDM, not baller. What "sweet" style is left?!?

205's on a 9" wheel.

What 16x9" wheels are you going to find for under $800, hell what ones are you going to find for under $1000? 17lbs isn't bad considering a 15x8 sportmax weighs 16lbs. Your right about the 205 on a 9 though, I don't think I'm going to do that, 215 might not even be enough.

JayL are you getting more and more upset everyday? Just the other day it was like, "I know he didn't mean to sell me a bad head", and I didn't. I got all these parts second hand off a car that I knew to be a good running car and had drove myself. Car made good dyno numbers and I had no reason to believe that the assembly was shotty. I wish I could help you out, but I'm broke, heck I'm putting this group buy together and in all reality I'm not going to have the money to get a set anyway. I hope one day to have something I can offer you to make this transaction better. I could've just pm'd this, but the fact is I did everything I could to make sure it was in good working mechanical condition.

Doppelgänger 09-13-2009 02:26 PM

245-35/16 tire or G T F O

fmowry 09-14-2009 07:57 AM

Man guys, quit shitting in the guys thread unless you have evidence that he's not trustworthy.

While you're at it why don't you find me a headlight without broken insides to replace the one I'm stuck with? Thanx

BG@enjukuracing.com if you have any questions. Call me(1-888-SR20DET/352-241-8399) or email me.

I'm not trying to yank free advertisement, so if the mods have a problem with the thread feel free to yank it down. Just figured miata/240 guys would be interested in a small but wide and not so heavy rim. Thanks for your time.

Thanks,
BG

Don't you one of yous drive a fc? I was on floridadrift a while back and i remember the names. I don't know, good luck with this.

Doppelgänger 10-06-2009 05:35 PM

Shit...I remember when the Enjuku guys first brought their cars to D-Day at Ocala..in 2004...they probably don't remember me though

Too bad these probably won't fit over my Brembos...care to send me one to check fitment?? :D

ripracer 10-06-2009 06:02 PM

BG drove a turboII i traded him a 240sx for it, it had a bad apex seal. I parted the motor and gave the car to this guy that is going to do all my sweet metal fab and teach me the way of the tig.
Yeah That is right about when I started getting interested in drifting, and it took me another 2+ years to actual get a car to the standards I wanted it, before I attended my first event, I still have yet to slide a miata, besides really slow stuff.
If we ever run into each other you can try them out. Your car reminds me that a NB can pull off 17s.

superslow 10-06-2009 06:36 PM

So did you buy these yet? Or start a GB over at CR.net? Just curious where this went. Interesting size, but wow so heavy.

ripracer 10-06-2009 09:22 PM

They ended up only having 3 sets when I ordered mine 2 weeks ago. They will be on back order until December and at that time we will try again. They weigh 17lbs which I don't think is bad considering a 15x8 sportmax weighs 16. The pics above are of my car with the new 245/35 t1rs here i tried to use 225/45 gforces first and found them too big.

17lbs seems pretty light to me.....

This does not compute.
