I used my dad's business credentials to broker the deal, but it's not really going "through" the shop. If I wanted to be a dealer, then there's a whole complication of (1) the shop's gotta actually make some money and (2) the shop's gotta pay taxes on what it did make, so I gotta charge more to cover the taxes, and (3) I'd need to sign up as a forum sponsor, which again I'd have to charge more to cover that. Instead of doing that, I'd say just go through Emilio.

I can see if I can add additional sets to the existing order BUT I'd need people to pay in advance. I'm not really in the habit of extending credit, and for the aforementioned reasons I'm not interested in becoming a dealer. However and again, I will see if I can add additional rod sets to the existing order to make sure as many folks as possible can get in.

<edit>
updated list is found here
https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/ann...nt.php?f=&a=17

Here's the list I have so far. I added a couple of you "on the fence" guys who inquired after all the spots were full. Please let me know if you guys do in fact want the rods, or if you need me to remove your names from the list.

1. ben
2. ben
3. loki
4. gokou
5. hrk
6. supersuk
**********
7. elesjuan
8. turns101
9. orion4096
10. dc2696
11. rollin904
12. db84drteg

Again, if you fall after #6, please let me know if you are indeed interested, and I'll need to require payment in advance. Fair enough?

And yeah, I hope Sam jumps in on this. But it's up to him.

Ben

I don't think we can order enough to get to the next pricing tier, but I'll try.
And it's looking like I'll be able to add a few sets to the order.

Y8s, the only reasonable valvetrains I know of are supertech. Anything else out there? I can find their distributor and give it a shot, if there's enough demand to warrant doing so. That's something to look into after this is done. There's a couple other things I'm looking at too that might be neat.

New list. If you wish to be added or removed, please let me know immediately!

<edit> the list has been moved here
https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/ann...nt.php?f=&a=17

We need 12 confirmed orders to get the discount.

To make things easy for me, I'm going to lock in a shipping rate of $15 to lower 48. So you're looking at $289+15=$304. Paypal add 3%=$313.12
If you live outside of the lower 48, shipping and paypal fees will be higher Sorry, that's not under my control. Local pickup is available at $289 cash.

If you guys can go ahead and pay me ASAP, I'll get it all together as one order. Which should also hopefully cut the freight/set down. If so, I'll let you guys know and reduce accordingly. But I need that payment immediately. Please PM me for paypal address. Thanks.

If we can get everyone to pay today and get it on one order, it looks like we can take off $13/set.

So $276 cash pickup
Or $300 shipped to the lower 48, incl paypal fees

But I'll need everyone's payment to make it happen. I can't afford to outlay this.

Come on guys! You want the discount? It's up to you! PM for address.
