Not bad if the turbo's in good shape. What kind of disease did that intercooler catch though? Did they two little cores together or something?

For the first question, I don't know...that is better directed to him...for the second question, I believethe intercooler is a larger single unit that was made from two intercooler units that use to support a c5 supercharged car.

Yeah, that is definitely it. If I remember correctly it was a corksport manifold, 300zx turbo, begi fpr, homemade dp, random couplers and what not, intercooler from a c5 turbo kit and an already taped oil pan. I was supposed to buy it later in the week( a couple months ago) but the guy undercut me and sold it to I guess this guy.

BTW, if he decides to part it out I'll take the dp and injectors and regulator.

Brain, you bet me to it, I didn't think it was a t3 either. And I love that y shaped pipe, what are you supposed to use it for in a Miata? And those injectors are tiny for a 1.8, you might get 6-8psi before you max them out.

with the fmu you should be able to get more than 200rwhp out of them. Still doesn't change the fact the turbo is still not a T3.

When it was in the kit it was a 300zx turbo, I guess he could have changed it to an sr20 t25..Why is he selling so quickly?

This is Bryan the owner of the kit, I am on Matt's name.

I have decided to go the spec miata route therefore I need the kit no longer. I never installed it, it just sat in the box. I have changed nothing in the kit. I bought the kit on the presumption of a t3 (i am not a turbo guy, never owned one, never worked on one) apparently the turbo is not a t3 for what you all say. Im sorry for the confusion, if someone is interested let us know. Thanks

Here I'll put it this way, you don't have a 700 dollar kit there. You have an older 300zx turbo, some random couplers from a vette, a cheap manifold, an intercooler that won't work on this car, and some small injectors. At this point I'm willing to work out a deal on the turbo, downpipe, injectors, and regulator.....IE the parts that are actually usable. If I remember correctly he was also selling this kit for 500 back in the day. Here's a break down...

300zx turbo- 75-100
downpipe- 50-100(he made the thing himself so it's not namebrand)
injectors- 50 bucks
regulator- 75-100

So at the highest point that would be 350 bucks for all those things. I'm willing to work out a deal. Theres no way you can expect more money than what you put into it. Just let me know.
