Going back to stock sale! (mspnp, greddy kit, dp, etc.)
Yep, i have the opportunity to jump on a piece of property, so i need to unload some stuff for a down payment. All prices are OBO, but please be reasonable.
1.) ****SOLD**** 90-93 MSPNP. Brand new (obviously). Has GM IAT sensor kit. $650 shipped. 2.) ****SOLD**** TurboTony 2.5" downpipe: Good shape, a little surface rust. Has the flange to the cat cut off to attach to my slip-fit exhaust. $150 + shipping 3.) Prosport gauges: Performer series white/green. New in box, never installed: ****SOLD****Electrical Boost- $30 shipped. Electrical Fuel pressure- $30 shipped. 4.) Greddy kit: Manifold has expansion cuts. Turbo has been welded to the manifold by previous owner. It's been run like that for years and thousands of miles without any problems. I have the stock downpipe, but you will have to find a way to attach it to your stock exhaust as it has no flange on it. Oil supply line included. Make offer. 5.) Intercooler kit: Ebay intercooler (the one used with the stripes kit). The cold side is the pipes from the stripes kit (2.5" with a bung already welded in for the IAT sensor). The hot side is a pieced together set of ebay polished aluminum pipes. All joints are 3-ply silicone joints with t-bolt clamps. $200 + shipping. 6.) 1G DSM "crushed" BOV. Nice simple woosh, with pretty good volume. has adapter to fit with the pipes. buy the pipes, and i'll throw the BOV and flange in. otherwise $20 + shipping. 7.) ****SOLD****550cc RX7 TII injectors. Beautiful set of injectors. They were flow tested and cleaned by witchhunter only about a month ago. They have been run on the car for less than a half-hour overall since that point, so they are basically like new. I paid $60 for them, and another $70 to have them flow cleaned. I'll let them go for $110 shipped. 8.) Vortech FMU: Remnant of the EMB days. Good unit in like new condition with some braided lines. $50 shipped. 9.) ****SOLD****AEM UEGO wideband. brand new, never installed. Taken out of box to admire, and that's about it. $225 shipped. All parts are located in Houma, LA. |

As noted in the first post, injectors and downpipe are sold. Thanks guys, i'll pull the parts off the car tomorrow and ship 'em out next week.

Tell me more about the intercooler and pipes. What kinda routing was it setup for?
|
i think he said the cold side is the same as the mx5projects.com and the hot side is a Frankenstein but he's using the same core that paul has and that we were talking about earlier today
and btw the 1g dsm bov is great |

now that you mention it, the pipes will require a little modification on your part. i removed the coolant hardpipe bolted to the framerail and ran a flexible radiator hose from the block directly to the radiator. i also relocated the power steering reservoir slightly so that the driver's side pipe could basically point straight down without having to go towards the center of the car and cut back outside.
they are configured as an around the radiator style. fits great with my godspeed radiator and has no clearance issues with anything. i have p/s and a/c and there's no issues. i can provide pics of the setup on the car if interested. i'll take some tomorrow. OLD PICTURE: Attachment 214872 note that i have since ditched the el-cheapo one-ply silicone couplers and the worm clamps. the kit now has good couplers and t-bolt clamps. this pic shows the routing on that side though. |
Ill take the WBo2

pm for the fuel pressure gauge.
|
More info on the BOV, whats "crushed" mean? Pics of the bov with flange would be nice. I may be interested.
|
the bov is in the third pic.
Crushing the bov means literally putting the valve in a vise and crushing the vacuum tophat into the body of the valve ever so slightly. this puts a little extra tension on the diaphragm and gives it a higher boost tolerance. DSM guys have been doing this little trick for years. It's the only BOV i've run this whole time. it's a good unit, works great, and sounds awesome: a nice full whoosh noise with no gimmicks. :) |
i saw that you have a walbro 190hp fuel pump in your sig. would you like to get rid of that if so i will buy it ..?

PM sent. :)
