Default JRSC Boost timing controller

Well now that I am reliably turbo I have stuff from my supercharger laying around. Only thing I can think of to interest this board is the boost timing controller. You can read all about it on their website. I think it does the same job as the bipes. I cut the controller wires and re-soldered them back together, other than that its in perfect shape. Comes with BTC, wired remote, vacuum line and ECU attatchment wires. Only thing you need to buy is one of those rubber vacuum line end fittings. Like the ones that come with boost gauges. Retails for $369.95 and I'm asking for $250 shipped.

For those who are interested, the kit is a JRSC for the 1.6. The super charger kit is missing the cross over tube, one long vacuum line (easily replaceable), and one silicone coupler and I think thats it. It has the "marbles in a jar" rattle at idle. Needs to be taken apart and inspected to see if it needs a rebuild. Has less than 40,000 miles on it, but actual mileage is unkown. Not looking to sell it for much, or at all. Just posting if anyone is interested.

Default Still got the 1.6 JRSC parts?

I could post about 8 more times and pm you or just ask you here. I have the older style 1.6 kit with a cone shaped nose pulley. If your blower has the later flat pulley I would be interested in seeing if I can swap noses so I can run a smaller pulley. Any thoughts on what you want for the blower?

You can post here or email to c dot swearingen at systemstrategies dot com

Wow, sorry about not seeing the activity. I watched this like a hawk for a week and by then it was on page 3 so I figured I'd never see it again. Sorry guys. I still have the s/c in the garage. I used the cross over on my turbo, so that is missing. I have the boost controller, blower, bracket, idler pulleys, all cast intake elbows and air filter. The s/c may need a rebuild, its rattles at idle and I have been told by some its normal, others its not. It ran just fine at 5psi on my car for 2 1/2 years, it just rattles at idle.

Due to the interest I went out and took pictures of everything I have from the kit. My comp is messing up for some reason and will not let me resize the pictures, so I need to post links to each one.
I have
The instruction book for the supercharger and the timing controller. It tells you step by step what to do, very helpfull http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y22...d/P1010088.jpg

The pcv hose, the cias hose and the electrical extender for the tps.
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y22...d/P1010086.jpg

The boost timing controller. The wires are cut for ease of removal/install. If needed I can solder them back together. (only 3 wires)
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y22...d/P1010082.jpg

The idler pulleys and adjustment block. Both spin easily and smoothly.
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y22...d/P1010080.jpg

The rear cast elbow, s/c mounting bracket and the dummy throttle body. Also the dummy tb block off plate and orange gasket. (the rear gasket pictured is not useable, I'm including it for comparing a replacement.)
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y22...d/P1010079.jpg

The main attraction. The body is complete, it spins easily by hand and the bypass is fully functional. The gaskets do not leak, the black stuff is just belt dust.
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y22...d/P1010074.jpg

The best picture I could get of the inside. There is some small scoring inside, but this from what I have seen is normal. When I spin the rotors by hand it does not feel like anything is grinding, and there is no resistance.

You will need: new air filter, I have the kit supplied one (not pictured) but it needs to be replaced (dirty). A fuel pressure regulator (i'm using the kits one on my turbo), I used most of the fasteners on my turbo, however the kit uses very few and the missing ones should be very easy to get. I will do my best to include what ones I have. And you will need a crossover, it is on my turbo as well. Very easy to make, and several companies sell them seperate.

There has been alot of interest in the kit as of sunday. If you would like any more pictures or info I will do my best to get it. PM me an offer and I will see where the price goes from there. The kit has less than 40k miles on it, but actual mileage is not known. It was installed when I bought the car, and I removed it when I went turbo. Need to know anything else? Contact me!
