Hard Dog Deuce roll bar
I believe that this is the safest roll bar available for street use. It's low and far back, which minimizes the risk of getting hit in the head by the bar if you are rear-ended. I think it was the perfect bar for me when my car was predominantly a daily driver, and only occasionally for track use. Now that's flipped, so I need something safer for the track at the expense of street driving safety. There are endless debates on this topic, so please take my opinions here well salted. The bar you choose is a serious decision, so please do your own research and make a determination of what bar you feel safest with. Please don't buy this from me just because it's the cheapest option if it's not the ideal safety device for you and your needs.
New, this bar would cost $550 shipped. I'm asking $275 with all the hardware, and the padding currently installed. There's a catch though! To install this bar you need to trim your rear carpet and parcel shelf. I'd like to trade these parts with you, as my new bar doesn't require cutting in the same spots. You'll need to make those cuts anyway, so it should work out nicely. This fits any year Miata from 1990-2005, including hard top and glass window soft top. However, the parcel shelves are not interchangeable between NA and NB, so the buyer would need to have an NB, or source an NB parcel shelf to trade. I live in Carmel Valley, and if you want to come out here to swap parcel shelves and carpets and take the bar with you, that's great. Otherwise, I travel to Salinas and Monterey often, and to the Bay Area from time to time, so we could meet up somewhere like that if that's better for you. Local only, please. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...06a287d11b.jpgAllows for easy access to flip the top up when seated https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...f7a0dfb2df.jpgCenter braced for strength and NASA approval https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...eef3de8590.jpgcut carpet https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...28a1768bfe.jpgtrimmed parcel shelf https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...1eef358ec2.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...7db50a4451.jpg |

Saldua I PMed you a few days ago. I've also got a Craigslister who's waffling. I'll be swapping it out on Monday in Mountain View if any Bay Area folks are interested.

Quite the fair price. That's my opinion.

Is this SCCA legal for stuff like Track Night?
In a week or two I’ll be parking my miata for the winter and putting it in storage, which means I could totally ship you my parcel shelf and carpet, and you could ship back all the roll bar stuff. If interested send me a PM. |
Sold, thanks!
