Hardtop $799
The top is aftermarket, but is not one of the crappy Snugtops that don't look like an OEM Miata top. This top does not have the crappy Snugtop rear latches that always seem to break. I have seen too many Snugtops with one broken rear latch. I've never seen or heard of a Kirklin with a broken rear latch. The top was manufactured by Kirklin, the first aftermarket hard top manufacturer and is as far as I can tell an exact exterior match. I could not tell a difference on the outside between this top and the one that Mattp just bought when we had them side by side. Even Jeremy Cox didn't notice that it was aftermarket from outside the car at Michelin. The rear glass is OEM glass. The hardware inside is slightly different and the rear latches are different. The top will come with spec miata type side mounts that I custom made myself for use on the track along with bolts to attach them. It has all of the original latches also. The top is fast, turning a 1:54.0 at CMP this weekend on 205/50R15 NT01s. i was just along for the ride. I guarantee that you will get faster on track with it on rather than running top down. ;) Photos: http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...y/FILE0016.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...y/FILE0012.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...y/FILE0010.jpg Asking $799 or B/O. |
Is that a normal HDHCDD, or the hardtop version? Trying to figure out if I have a chance at putting a hardtop over my HDHC...

Heh, I saw this on CCR's website and posted up about it. Any idea how flexible he is on the price?
|
Will he ship it?
|
If he's willing to come down on the price, I'd be interested. Columbia isn't too far from Charleston...is he selling the strikers with it, or did he get a new top and still needs them?
Also, what seats are those? I've been looking to get some seats and would love to try those out if he's a small guy like me. |
I'll check for you guys
