I want to trade front sway bars

I have a racing beat 1.25" front bar (the big one, for the '01-'05 cars) and I want the 1.125" front bar (for the '99-'00 cars).

If anybody is interested in trading, let me know.

You're crazy man, I love my front 1.25 bar. On "soft". With no rear bar.

On "stiff", the car makes my head move from side to side too much.

I get a lot of understeer at autocross, I'm just trying to fix that without losing the ability to accelerate out of corners. I've already softened up the front springs, and it helped, but didn't fix the problem.

rear bar installed?

skidude 02-09-2012 11:35 AM

Stock rear bar, yes.

Braineack 02-09-2012 11:55 AM

is the front on the softest setting? what spring rates?

I know y8s still has plenty of oversteer with his tubular bar and tiens w/ no rear bar.

Front bar is on the softest setting (end holes), and my spring rates, I believe, are 350 fr and 250 rear. I would be very interested in your alignment specs, y8s. You do mostly street driving? Any autocross?

y8s 02-09-2012 12:17 PM

I am too impatient to autocross. Mostly street. I have something close to the Lanny alignment, maybe with a half degree additional negative camber.

oversteer is partly the fault of many year old RS2 tires.

I have an FM 1" adjustable bar if you'd consider it.

Thanks, but I think I want the slightly smaller RB bar for reasons I don't entirely understand.
