Time to part ways with my Lotus seats. They are great seats but I need more protection from my door bars.

They allow the use of 5/6 point harness and are great for a dual duty car. Very comfortable too. I have a few 3+ hour drives to the track and they are great. Very, very light.

Gray suede inserts have been dyed black. The headrests have been re-glued twice, the glue is a known issue with these seats. This is the FRP version, not the carbon ones.

$550 each plus actual shipping (Maybe $40-50 bucks?) or local pick up in NorCal

Price drop $500 plus shipping

Brackets are already spoken for. Thanks!

With the harnesses on the track do you find you are held in the seat well enough? Do you expect the glue to continue to fail and have to be re-glued or did you use a higher quality fabric glue to take care of the problem?

These would make a phenomenal dual duty seat. Very interested. Shipping quote to 33770?

Coupled with harnesses I never felt myself lacking for support. I was really happy with how well they worked. The crotch slot is a tad on the narrow side, making them better suited for a 5 pt or V type 6 point.

I re-glued twice.

1. I used 3m super 90 - It failed in high heat just like the original contact cement
2. I used Weldwood contact cement from DAP - I have used this stuff to veneer wood numerous times and it never failed. Since this application it hasn't budged. According to DAP its good to 180* F.

The only time this is an issue if you leave your car parked with the windows up in the sun, in the summer, ETC.

Shipping quote PM pending, doubt it will be more than $40-$50 bucks.

The guy behind InfinitFab is selling the brackets on eBay.

I would avoid those those like the plague. I originally ordered those before I bought the Flipside brackets.

They were really flimsy, and the templates he used to drill the mounting brackets were way off. Like 3/4" off. I sent mine back.

Sorry to thread jack, but has anyone else had experience with the aforementioned seat brackets?
