Lets get stiff - Swift Springs!

20 Attachment(s)
First off, if you're not familiar with the benefits of swift springs vs. your average Joe springs, take a look here.

I've got a full set of 4 swift springs for sale. I'm going insanely stiff and having my coilovers re-valved so I will no longer be able to use these.

For those interested, the general rule of thumb is the dampers are safe above or below 2kg/mm in difference from spring rate.

MSRP: $175 per set new = $350+shipping.

Asking $250 shipped I am located in Seattle, WA area.

Specs are as follows:
-Two (x2) 7kg/mm (~392 lb/in)
-Two (x2) 5kg/mm (~280 lb/in)
-They are all 7" tall springs, and 3" in diameter plus or minus. See attached pictures with the ruler.

Very slight surface rusting on the springs as pictured, but honestly my camera makes it look a bit worse than it is. They're fully functioning, and have not sagged a bit. I don't want any surprises so I'm making everything as clear as possible.

These springs are very compliant for a daily driven car, but they're stiff enough to do whatever you'd like. I was very happy with them for drifting and Auto X.

Thanks for looking, let me know if you have any questions.

Here's what you're here for - I know you like pictures ;)

What coilovers did these came from? Would these work with tein mono/flex?

Sorry bro you can't mix USDM springs with JDM coilovers unless you want to blow your dampers. That's like putting tentacle hentai next to Reading Rainbow.

Why do you have a penis rule? From your pics these look like 60mm springs, not 3".

Came to post about awesome ruler, beaten to the punch. Much sad.

Mx54life- they'll work with your tein shocks as long as the springs are the same dimensions, or really as long as the inner diameter of the spring clears everything, and the shock sits on your perches okay.
Edit: they were originally on fortune auto 500 series coilovers.

Also, the general rule that I'm familiar with is that dampers can be matched with springs plus or minus 2kg/mm than they were originally paired with.

I just gave a rough measurement in writing as obviously the picture showing the diameter with the ruler gives a much better visual measurement than me saying "they're 3 inch" and getting questioned about where and how I measured.

And yes, my penis ruler rules.

Somebody should buy these so I can actually afford my new ones!

I'd really like to get these out of my house. Best springs you can put on your car.

I need to do some measurements on my PSS set up for a 99 car that I have on my 1990 car. Would only be interested in the 7 kg. Pair for the Miata. But may need the 5 kg. Pair for my crx rears. I am interested. Just bought another couple cars do a little broke now. Will try to stay in contact.if they fit the ground control coil over sleeves I'll want the 5kg pair.

So are these 60 or 65mm springs? Counting and metric conversions are two of my weakest skills.

jkspeed 06-06-2014 08:55 AM

I'll buy that ruler?

ColbyDangerJones 06-08-2014 02:44 PM

Measured with a caliper,
60.98mm I.D.
80.69mm O.D.

And no, cannot part with ruler. I can't believe you even asked.
