Link ECU $350 shipped
Selling my MK1 Link ECU - came with a lot of parts I bought and I've decided I may as well go the megasquirt route. Comes in the original LINK plastic briefcase type thing. Comes with map sensor also. This is boxed and ready to ship.
$250 OBO SHIPPED |
I'll add a brand new $110 IAT sensor bought from the original manufacturer. I decided to get a megasquirt instead.

Does the Map sensor have the Knock sensor built in?
|
No its the MK1 sensor but you could probably find a cheap mk2 sensor - you can select which sensor you are using on the keypad - then you could sell the mk1 sensor.
|
or just run without a knock sensor and retard the timing or just at least don't advance it.
|
My MK2 map/knock sensor is bad. (just the knock detection in the map unit -the bosch sensor is good) FM quoted me $350 for a new one (Bill thought he could still get one).
Exactly what I was thinking --to buy yours if it had it- and then part out the unit. I've been running without the knock part for over a year so it's not that important (My car is/was dyno tuned). I went from MS to Link... (I did have MS's on both cars at one time) The MS wouldn't start at 40 below, but performed well. The quirky key thing on the Link startup drives me crazy- but it starts at 40 below- a requirement on my DD... |
