Default 96 transmission and axles

-96 transmission

96 5 speed transmission, has 155,000 miles, and was resealed about 5000 miles ago. Shifts great, no known problems. Asking $195 OBO (pickup only in Cleveland, OH)

-96 axles

Came out of a 96 with 155,000 miles. I don't think the one is original, as it has different nut/thread vs the other. No known problems. Asking $175 shipped for the pair.

PM with questions/offers.

Thanks,

Jason

Interested. I'm only a few hours from Cleveland. But I also need the rest of a 5spd swap. You by chance have it??

I have the tranny with shifter, ppf, stock flywheel, stock style clutch, master cylinder and lines, and block spacer plate. You would need pedal box and slave cylinder, and whatever interior console pieces the shifter requires.

I still need to check the compression on this motor to make sure I'm gonna go through with the project but assuming that works out if you name a price a fella can't refuse youll have cash in your hand soon

I actually found a guy locally who is willing to trade an entire 5spd job for my auto trans so I'll be taking that route.

Thanks anyway man!

I didn't think 1 piece axles were available for any NA, pretty sure you've got some NB axles there.

They're completely interchangeable, but I don't think they're from a '96

Good to know. Not the original owner of the car, so it's what was on it when I bought it. I can say that whatever year they were from, they worked fine on my 96.

Thanks,

Jason

If you buy the tranny, I'll throw in the PPF, stock shifter with ****, and stock style clutch. Same price, $195 picked up.

Also wanted to add another pic of the axles, as the previous one makes them look different lengths.

Also have a 500 mile clutch master cylinder, with hard lines and braided stainless flex line. Asking $40 shipped.

PM me if interested in anything.

Think the tranny buyer flaked out, haven't heard anything. Back for sale. Anyone willing to drive to Cleveland to get this stuff, throw me a reasonable offer. Need it out of my way.
