Zabac was more than happy that this rail was coming out. Last I heard he was not going forward with the rail stock group buy.

Correct... I don't work for them, but I support them, but have also been in discussion with Chad around ETD sponsoring the forum. ETD has been waiting for all the new parts to be released.

Sorry you did not find my PM of value. I wanted to ensure the Miataturbo.net guys got in on this intro batch as the product is getting released on miataforum tomorrow. Go back to for orginal budget rail thread. I started it months ago and have made this a little pet project of mine.

Have a good night.

Thanks for the apology. I'm glad to hear that ETD might become a sponsor. I'm never keen on spam, and that was the reason for my response. Good luck.

I'm with some of the other folks... You sure are in a rush to have us buy something which, at this point, is nothing more than a name.

No data on how it works better. No pictures. No description.

"Bigger Diameter" is all I see. I, too, find the spam very distasteful. Show me a pic, you've got CAD files, or something.... It sure seems like you're trying to flood the market (with orders) while the other rails are fledglings.

I was going to not mention this, but if you've got a rail to test, let me see it, I'll sign NDA's on the design, etc. I don't see that what you're offering is better, only that I got spam and you're telling everyone to act now or else, when other products might be coming out. The offer is a nice one, and would be tempting, but marketing like that I'd rather make DIY

Hi Abe,

I understand you thoughts but it is not my place (neither my money invested) to start showing pictures (which I don't have) of the model which was built.

High Flow large bore fuel rails have been supported and made for the miata for quite a few years, but at an expensive price. Essentially ETD has made a high quality cheaper cost rail with a few tweaks. The bore is large and hence the reason for the 3/8 npt ports. I understand that some may be a little concerned about buying up front, but you have to kinda treat it has a group buy @ $99 (similar to what Zabac was trying yo do) versus $129 which is the future retail price of this item.

This item is perfect for someone who would like to purchase a 1.8 similar to old discontinued Vishnu offering, but with an even larger bore. Many have asked for a cheaper rail similar to the recent 1.6 offering. I've harassed my friend John@ETD to do it, and he has done just that.

If you want a large bore dual feed billet rail for your 1.8 engine ETD has a solution in process. I wish they could offer it at $99 all the time, but I know the margin is really not that high. Could be worse. I've paid over $200 for a 94-97 and a 99-04 Vishnu in the past. Anyone wanna buy my 99-04 Vishnu?

Remember this thread https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/sho...ghlight=Billet
This was the start of this, but TunerToys came to market first with the 1.6 and therefore ETD is making the 1.8 rail which everyone was demanding first. I'm quite certain they will bring out a 1.6 rail in the future also.

Thanks to all those who have purchased rails. I just spoke to John and he gave me an update on the number of sales, and he also mentioned he is putting more pressure on the CNC shop to get them done as quick as he possibly can.

Hope this makes a little bit of sense..

I am always looking for a bargain, and would be all over saving $30 off the regular price, but statements like the one I quoted really turn me off of ETD. I really find it unprofessional for a company to take money but not offer documentation of any kind for the product. Mark, you always state that you are not directly related to ETD, but you are ETD's voice on these forums it seems, so I see ETD/Mkulak as the same entity.

I understand that you don't want to be copied and "beaten to market", but that can be easily remedied by making your stuff first and then marketing/taking orders.

We are beating a dead horse here folks.... ETD always supplies a good product and what they commit to. I've been dealing with them for 10 years that I'm no longer a customer.. I go over for bbqs now.

I did not think this would be such an issue over a fuel rail. ETD has not even contemplated doing this (intro offer) with their coolant reroute, as it is a given that you would want to see how they went about their kit.

For **** sakes!

People bitched, wined and complained how expensive Billet dual feed fuel rails are for the longest time, now someone is offering them at a fraction of the cost of say a Vishnu,FM or FFS,and now they bitch about the person/company offering them, they are whoreing the market.

If it were not for people like Mark & TunerToys answering the call for a cheap but high quality billet rail,we would still have no choice but to pay the $200+ for a rail(except for the cheap *****,cause they just mod the stock rail).

It's a reasonable offer, no one is being forced to buy anything. I'd show a model were it me, but it isn't.

I'm pretty tempted to buy one, only I have yet to see anything that says it'll do me any good yet. So, I'm waiting till I've tested some rails. If I have a real, pro-made dual feed rail for my test, and it helped, I might be able to make a strong recommendation for this. It's a good price, I just don't know if it's needed. If you're looking for a rail, I'd say it would be a good way to go.

The spam, though, was uncalled for.

^there are alot of things that happen on this forum that are uncalled for, that's what makes this place so great, the freedom to do alot of things you would normally get in **** for on the "other" miata forum.

There is so many ways you can re-invent the wheel, that same thing applies to a fuel rail.

What I really like about the ETD rail is the fact that it's dirt cheap and it's made by a reputable company that knows their ****,not some joe blow with a welder and some rail stock.I would have no problems buying this rail site unseen(as long as it's fits my car and does what it's suppose to do,I don't give a ****).

So if this is an ETD product then how come its not listed on their site but on a satellite site? To me it looks like like you made your own website and just said it was a division of ETD racing. I'm not trying to be an *** here, but it looks kinda shady. Now if ETD racing put it on their site, that would be a different story. There's no link to M-tuned anywhere on their site.

So no pics, no flow testing charts, no nothing, and a website that is something other than ETD racing's website looks shady as hell to me.

First of all,STFU and potentially ******* up this group buy for people that are actually serious about this fuel rail.

Shady? I guess you are too ******* stupid to see Mark's posistive feedbacks.
The ******* newbs with 15 posts selling stuff on this forum are more shady than Mark.

Mark has been in the miata community for many years and he is one of the few that have taken the miata to a level that many today have still been unable to reach,if this product did not work,he would not be using it or will he be selling it to others.

Once again,STFU and keep your negative comments out of this thread.

Marc is well known around these parts. But if you didn't know him by his reputation, then I can see how easily this conclusion could be made. IMO, a couple of pictures and all will be well in the world.

Ben,I do agree that a few pictures will speak louder than words, but Marc did mention in a previous post why he did not post pictures up due to copyright issues & permission. The thing that pissed me off the most was Artieparty ASSumed Marc was shady & also had no ******* clue at all.

.....Marc is also very well known on M.net too for many years.

So 3 positive feedback is supposed to make me say "OH ****, HES AN AWESOME PERSON SELLING STUFF. Let me blindly send him money!!!" ?? I have 1 positive feedback, you want to send me money for a "fuel rail" that I'm working on?

He has about 30 more posts then I do on this site and registered at the same time I did less than a year ago. So he may have been in the miata world for many years but less than one here.

Any one can make a site these days. I simply said I don't want to be an *** here and how come its not on the ETD site if ETD is making the product?

^someone blindly sent you money when you had ZERO feedback & they took a chance on you. He's got 2 more positives than you.

You are an ***,and your first post on this thread proves it.

If your not interested in the fuel rail, then don't buy it and stop being so negative on this thread.

Please visit Http://www.K-Tuned.com as this is ETD's Honda K series site. M-Tuned is how they are going to start branding their Miata parts.

If you are really quite worried you can call ETD at their shop number (905)953-9260 and ask them if they are making Fuel Rails for the Miata. Also when you purchase the rail on the site the money is sent to SALES@ETDRACING.COM Doh!

Wow... I'm actually personally insulted... I've given a lot to the Miata community and never expected this low blow. Thanks to Spike, Ben and others who have vouched for me.
