1.8 Begi S4 + GT2560R=almost a complete "kit"
I'm selling what could be an almost complete turbo kit if purchased together.
Begi 1.8 S4 mani with matching 3" stainless sgdp and #2+ Begi intercooler. MOST necessary charge pipes included, GFB vta BOV, all the Begi shields, scooper, etc. Also could include turbo oil and water lines, consisting of some nice custom pieces. Price: $1500.00 incl shipping to the lower 48.
Garrett GT2560R turbo from FM, with holes drilled for 10mm hardware, ported by Begi. Price: $500.00 incl shipping to the lower 48.
The Details
The mani, dp, and intercooler are almost new, only run about 8-10 hours, mostly on the dyno. Includes the Begi threaded mani/dp support strut. The IC is a #2, which Begi told me would be a little bigger than a standard #2, not sure the details-it's large. The charge pipes ended up being a hodge-podge of my original FM and the new Begi stuff, it worked on my '90 without ps and ac. The pipe it's missing is the turn down right off the throttle body, I'd recommend the new owner probably should just get all the Begi cold side stuff. I'll also throw in the misc charge couplers and clamps and stuff I have, they might come in handy for you. This kit may end up missing hardware and stuff, you should be aware that it won't be totally complete as-is, you'll need to engineer a few little details, don't bitch if it's missing a nut or two.
The kit will include the misc aluminum Begi heat shielding and some sort of scooper, none of which I have ever installed and frankly don't know exactly where it all belongs, up to you to get it to work. Will include a GFB BOV, as FM uses, actually mounted up to the FM stainless/chrome coldside tee.
Further parts thrown in will include turbo water and oil lines, which worked on my particular late 1.8 setup. I customized the mixing mani and front 'stat housing to flow water to this setup, it's trick but will probably only work with a non-a/c & non-p/s car. I can provide more details as needed.
Onto the turbo. It's a Garrett GT2560R from FM, ceramic coated turbine side. I sent it to Begi, and they drilled out the flange for 10mm hardware and ported the wastegate, also clocked it for bottom mount. I can tell you that with both the old FM setup on my old 1.6, and with the new Begi setup on my new but blowing up 1.8, there was some oil coating the inside of the charge pipes after running. I worried about it, but a local turbo-type shop took a look at the turbo and said shaft play and bearing function looked fine. I just want to be comfortable knowing that the new owner knows in advance that the seals MAY have a little weaping, it could even be lack of restrictor, I just never got that far. Turbo worked perfect, built boost nice, made expected power levels, etc. BTW, I think the wastegate was an 8 or 9 pound unit.

At this moment I don't want to part the kit out. From my last sale, I know that there may be more interest in a parted kit. I WILL part it if I can get multiple people to commit to buying the majority of the parts, I just won't part it out if someone wants a few charge tubes. Get together with your buddies and we'll work something out.
