This top will fit any Miata from 1990-1997 perfectly without any modifications, provided you have the "frankenstein" bolts and side striker plates needed to secure the top to your car. There are many benefits of owning a hardtop. The Miata looks wonderful as a coupe, and the rear styling of the car with the top installed appears lower and wider with the big glass area. Body shakes are minimized since the hardtop helps to stiffen the structure of your car. Security is also increased, and rear visibility out of the glass is a huge improvement over the convertible window! Your convertible top can simply be folded down and the hardtop has brackets that hold the convertible top in place. Storage is simple, since the top does not weigh much, but the shape does make it necessary for two people to install/remove the top to avoid scratching your car.
