Mazdas @ MRLS SATURDAY track day spot

Family needs require me to stay home Saturday morning, so I have my spot for sale for the track day with Flyin' Miata at Laguna Seca SATURDAY.

Per the rules posted here https://www.miatasatmazdaraceway.com/registration.php, spots can be sold to other drivers, and the new driver can switch run groups if availability exists.

My spot is "A" (Advanced) on Saturday, however, C and D are also open to transfer into.

I paid $250 and it includes a medium shirt. I'll be there later on Saturday so we can negotiate the shirt :), but I'd like to sell the track day since I won't be able to take part in it.

I think the "A" spot is worth the $250 I paid for it since it's sold out, but am reasonable. I'll discount the C or D spot since they are open for regular reg. Please PM me ASAP since the event is just two days away! I can forward you the email showing I'm registered, then shepherd the changeover through info@miatasatmazdaraceway.com.

On Saturday and Sunday, we will have five run groups that will run 5 18-minute session each.

Instructors are available in any group.

Expert - A Group (FULL now, or take my spot)
This group is primarily filled with current or former race licensed drivers or non-racers with 20+ events and very well prepared track cars. These are essentially the fastest cars and drivers at the event. Open passing is allowed but passing in corners, stealing apexes, and aggressive driving is frowned on. Courtesy point by hand signals are always welcome, and we prefer to see passes made before the turn-in point of a corner. The key here is track experience, awareness, predictability and no surprises!

Advanced - B Group (FULL)
This group is similar to A Group but is not restricted to current or former race licensed drivers. The typical 'B' driver has 20+ events experience and has the awareness on track to pass and be passed with open passing rules. This group also consists of both track prepared and street legal cars that are driven to the event. As above, there is no passing in corners, stealing apexes, or aggressive driving, and courtesy point-by’s are strongly encouraged to enhance safety. Once again the key here is track experience, awareness, predictability and no surprises!

Upper Intermediate - C Group (AVAILABLE)
Drivers in this group typically have the skills and track experience to safely share the track with other cars of varying speeds and capabilities. The vehicles in this group could be street or track prepared, and the drivers typically have a minimum of 4+ track days under their belt, including completion of at least one track day at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. All passing in this group is controlled by the vehicle being overtaken, and only with mandatory point by. Passing is not allowed unless the car being overtaken has authorized the pass with a hand signal. As above, there is no passing in corners, stealing apexes, or aggressive driving.

Lower Intermediate - D Group (AVAILABLE)
Drivers in this group have recently graduated from the novice group, but do not have extensive track experience. The vehicles in this group could be street or track prepared, and the drivers typically have a minimum of 2+ track days under their belt. All passing in this group is controlled by the vehicle being overtaken, and only with mandatory point by. Passing is not allowed unless the car being overtaken has authorized the pass with a hand signal. As above, there is no passing in corners, stealing apexes, or aggressive driving.

Novice - E Group (FULL)
This group typically consists of first time drivers and/or drivers with 3 or fewer events experience and no experience driving at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. In the interest of everyone’s safety, first time drivers will have an instructor assigned to them, to include riding along in the car, and will also have mandatory classroom/download sessions. After demonstrating the requisite skills and experience to their instructor, those who demonstrate adequate experience, safety and skill may be allowed to run 'solo' (without an instructor. All passing in this group is controlled by the vehicle being overtaken by way of mandatory point by hand signals, and passing is restricted to designated straight sections of track described in the drivers meeting. Passing is not allowed unless the car being overtaken has authorized the pass with a hand signal. As above, there is no passing in corners, stealing apexes, or aggressive driving.
