MegaSquirt 9495 PNP1 w/bluetooth module
Hey everyone, not much to say about this.... it works fine. As I am giving my Miata to my kid, they have no need for a standalone. Included, unlike many I've seen for sale, is the serial cable + the bluetooth module I bought off EFI Analytics. The module is hiding on top of the ABS module there, my fail at picture taking. Module is a nice to have, I tune the car mostly with a cheap android tablet.
The ECU is currently setup to run GM IAT, and HiRes 11d firmware is currently what is loaded on it. Runs my car great! Asking $300 shipped to the lower 48. http://www.ecimulti.org/gallery3/var...g?m=1501504742 |
SOLD.

I'll buy it if it's still for sale. PM sent.

Hah...2 minutes too slow. didn't even get the pm sent.

Question for Gimpster. Doesn't the bluetooth module need to be charged periodically? So, if the car seats for a while, the module would not work until it charges, presumably from being connected to MS and drawing power from it?
|
Hey nile, the answer is no. The Bluetooth module is powered via the serial cable. It just turns on when the ignition is on. At least the module from EFI Analytics works that way :)
My car is a saaaaaaad panda now without this. It's shocking how much the tune I made improved the power/response vs. the stock ECU. |
