New performance clutch Jul09, throwout bearing came apart this May, it was partially plastic so my mechanic sourced an all metal unit and installed.
Just went through that throwout bearing, my mechanic feels the pressure plate may have been damaged (only replaced TB in May), he feels a new clutch,
pressure plate and TB will fix this car. I had to make the decision to move on because this car was my daily driver. It is outstanding and really fun to drive.
It would be a great track car and routinely surprises folks who think that all Miatas are dogs. Great takeoff and really nice to be able to pass cars on the
freeway without downshifting. Top speed, as far as I know is 125 where it ran out of gears, engine was still pulling.

You can get this car back on the road incl new clutch and all for around $2K, it has at least 75K worth of life left.
