I will be once I actually get people to send me money. I have several people on the fence.

Well you buy it now, then you will most likely have several months before I get it out to you. So plenty of time to make sure your engine is worthy.

I am also going to extend the group buy until the end of September. I am going to Miata's in Boone towards the end of the month and want to show off the setup there and will be doing some dyno runs. Hopefully I can drum up some interest and get some people on board.

I am still very happy with my setup, still running strong. My car is about to turn 229,000 miles at which time I will have 3k on my MK Turbo. Bahurd, sorry if that is misspelled, here is a pick of my open loop duty table which consistently reaches 11 to 13 psi under 3 grand between 70 and 100 degrees F. I think I have the same solenoid diy sells but I paid a little more and was able to pick it up the same day at my local grainger. My closed loop tuning is getting close and SchmoozerJoe told me about a good dynojet not too far so hopefully will dyno soon.

Thanks again Lars!
If I had not been able to get on the last group buy or had another miata I would be in again for sure.

Take Nigelt for a ride, then convince him to get into this one.

Carlos. Thanks and I don't doubt you're getting the results you are. I haven't had time to screw with it and at this point am happy with using the Grimmspeed MBC that I put on it in the beginning. I've got other things more pressing. Regarding the kit itself, I'm really happy with it and trying to decide to jump in on this GB for the '91 I just picked up. My wife has taken a liking to my 2000 with the MKTURBO kit on it.

I'm trying but he's currently busy.

Brian, just sharing the table for your benefit, as you can see I am able to bleed off all my pressure before 2700 then bleed off just a little after that.

Still oscillating in closed loop but I had a good 4th gear spool log this morning. It was cold this morning.

projectddos is the first person to put in a deposit. So I will be starting with building NB setups first.

I mean i would suggest you get your 1.6 running good first. Before going to the 1.8, but yes long term it is a good idea.

What do you recommend for intercooler+piping for your setup? I'd prefer to not have to do much/any fab work since I don't have a welder.

Honestly you will have to do some fab work, but you don't need to weld. You will just need some sort of saw to cut aluminum piping. Check out ysleem's build thread for how he did it on his NA. While he has a 1.6 the 1.8 should be very close. Start with 2" aluminum ebay piping, it is the easiest to route and you honestly don't need bigger. Use Siliconeintakes.com to get couplers and clamps. Use reducers where needed. You can get an ebay intercooler for between $68-100, or a Precision core one for $150 on Amazon.

I am very shortly going to start working on the IC piping in my 99. I will document how I do it.

Just hauled *** on a 6.0 2006 gto, the guy couldn't keep up until I slowed down. He was alone and I had a passenger, he was impressed and gave me a thumbs up after I let him catch up. Looked them up and they are supposedly running mid 13's on the 1/4 mile. My closed loop boost is getting better, so I may be able to dyno it for you soon Lars.
