When this kinda of stuff happens i typically dont make any threatening messages towards the seller, usually i try to find where the miscommunication is and how we can resolve it so both sides are equally happen and dissappointed lol. I made sure to take screen shots of the ebay listing prior to contact with them so incase they make any changes after i have proof of what the listing looked like when i placed my order.

I'm not suggesting that you'd do that. I'm saying that the seller automatically wins when the buyer says anything resembling a threat or ultimatum etc. So just be extra careful.

This is what happened to me with the first T3 I bought- restocking fee clearly stated in the add, plus buyer pays return shipping. But my turbo specs were off on both the compressor and turbine. So I sold it here at a minor loss vs. the big loss of returning it. This way the buyer knew exactly what they were getting with detailed photos and measurements. IMO those two faults with your purchase (IWG hole and water cooling) wouldn't be deal breakers to me since you have the other specs you're looking for.

I had that exact same turbo JxPhan. I ran it without any water cooling and it worked good. I was having slow spool at my altitude but sent it to MustardTiger and he loves it. Won the autocross outright and got the FTD:

Haven't seen him post about it yet I don't know if he's using the water cooling or not.

Oh thats Cody, i've talked to him on a couple occasions on FB prior to ordering the turbo. I decided im just going to keep the turbo and run it. Did you run a restrictor with in the oil feel?

Yeah I ran a restrictor. That turbo came with a new bolt-on flange for the oil feed that already had a pinhole so I used that.

Is anyone using this set up with a butterfly brace? I found a great deal on one and I'm crossing my fingers it will fit. Haven't bought it yet.

Has anyone been able to get a hold of Lars lately? Haven't been able to get a hold of him for a few days now. Hope everything is okay.

Go to mkturbo website click your year of car and send him an email he will ask you several questions about what some preferences are and give you estimates on build time and go from there, very straightforward guy IMHO

So did you actually speak to him or was it an automated thing? Last I actually communicated with him was Wednesday via text. Again hope everything is okay. He hand delivered a kit to my house in ATL about 10 days ago and was a super nice guy and very knowledgeable. Very happy so far, but would love to know about the status of the rest of my kit.

Disregard eveeyone. Lar's just reached out to me via email. His phone got damaged earlier this week and was unable to reply. Exactly what as I was thinking as he was a super good dude. All is well with MKTURBO.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah everything is good. Lar's damaged his phone Wednesday as has not received a replacement yet and been unable to return my texts. He says his replacement phone should be delivered tomorrow for anyone else wondering. I'm a super satisfied customer and looking forward to continued business.

Lets be real here, all proceeds benefit 949 Racing, as that's where I spend the majority of what little money I make.
