Default WANTED!! afm

i need a new afm for my miata FAST lol inside of the black lid the fuel pump switch, the little strip of metal, broke so i need one.. i was in the process of buying one from someone on here can't remember who but he said like 30 bucks maybe.. let me know i will pay more than 30 though! thanks

As a temporary measure, you can stick a jumper between the terminal labeled "F/P" and the terminal labeled "GND" inside the diagnostic connector which is under the hood near the driver's side shock tower. That will force the fuel pump to run whenever the key is on.

I ran my car for ~2 years like this.

well actually the part of the fuel pump switch is still touching the little post thingy but.. when the flapper door moves the bar thats disconnects the fuel pump thing doesn't toush it .. so the pump is coming on but just when the flapper shuts i guess its not turnning the pump off? am i correct is that bad

Hell, in that case just leave well enough alone. Just don't wreck the car and rupture the fuel lines, causing you to perish in a firey inferno as the running pump empties the whole contents of your fuel tank onto the stalled and blazing engine.

more like i just dont really care, 'cause its been there for two years, i got it for free, and my COP wiring went wrong today and i blew my ECU . .
no ones fault but my own, but eh
