Default Built BP1.8 motor/head.

Hey everyone. So after I got my miata I started building this spare motor 96 block with/ 99 head. The 96 block is all set and done and have fully done up 99 head. I'm planning on doing a swap instead of running the BP1.8. This motor has had the works down to it, I didn't cheap out on building it.

Please note: I did not build the motor myself Class one machine assembled both the block and head however they have been putting together with one another.

Got the 99 head back today. looks AMAZING

So Here's the list.

96 block. -$SOLD

Eagel rods
Supertech Pistons (9.0:1)
ARP head studs
ACL bearings
Decked and Line honed
Full blue print and balance
LLine hone main studs
Mirco polish crank
Hot tanked
New freeze plugs
Block was painted with black engine paint
Oil pan was painted with silver engine paint

99 head -$1750

Cleaned and hot tanked valve cover(while baffles were removed)
Comes with powder coated (dark blue) oem cam gears.
Full race port and polish
5 angle valve job
decked for metal headgasket
supertech dual springs and retainers
supertech +1mm exhaust and intake valves

Misc what the block/head with come with
OEM Metal
New water pump(installed)
New oil pump kit(installed)(looks like an auto parts oem replacement oil pump.)
Full overhaul gasket kit

Alot of money in parts here motor should do 300+

I will part the head from the block if I have buyers for both

If I had to split the head and block I'd do -sold for the bottom end and
$1750 for the head.

Will ship but buyer pays. Will accept paypal.
I'm open to reasonable offers

Thank you for looking

Anyone correct me I'm wrong but The difference between the 94-97 and 99 block is that the 94-97's have a hole for an oil return already there I believe. Besides the misc sensors.

'94 and '95 had oil port. '96 and up did not.

By oil port for return we're talking about the oil pan has the hole or the block has a return port in it? Excuse my ignorance.

The blocks with the oil port as mentioned had an actual threaded port to "push" oil out - this you can use for pressurized oiling of the turbo. You still need to make your own return/drain line into the oil pan.
