I think the receipt is posted on here somewhere from Calico. They have the ceramic top coat and moly side coating. I attempted to weight balance these pistons as close together as I could. Yes its ugly, but I was trying to remove material from the beefiest areas. These pistons were run in my car for around 7k miles at 270 whp. I recently tore the motor down to go fully forged so I dont need these. some slight wear on the piston skirts but nothing crazy. I can send more pics if interested. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...6b16bb3a59.jpg The rods were also part of the build that im replacing with Manleys. To be honest, the finish quality (visually) of these ebay rods was better than the Manleys. They use 5/16 ARP bolts. The machine shop measured the big ends for me and they were perfectly round. They were on the bigger side of spec. The reason Im getting rid of them is the bushing in them got burned and the clearance is a bit too large now (.002) I think. Machine shop thinks they may have been a bit too tight to begin with and self clearanced a bit. I was having trouble sourcing replacement bushings so i just said screw it and bought Manleys. I believe companies like Manley, Eagle and Crower can custom make bushing to spec (OD for these bushings is .868). I just dont not feel like messing with it. Cost of custom bushings is likely $40-70 and thats really all they need. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...cea28fe8ff.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...23cf60e1f8.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...8ac1bbe44b.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...c4a5a31b8d.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...b78f20b600.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...98c75e5369.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...c82ced18b5.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...f6035f3b53.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...896ed06259.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...117032e069.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...aab44fa243.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...b60afddd3b.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...7585462a2f.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...a2fb1bea87.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...5a8f38a318.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...97282c7a85.jpg |
