Default FS: 2001 15/16" Brake Master Cylinder/Brake Booster

FS: 2002 15/16" Brake Master Cylinder/Brake Booster AND PROP VALVE

EDIT: I found the original information from the previous owner. This is from a 2002 SPORT SE model, could not verify ABS or not from previous owner. The third outlet on the MASTER CYLINDER suggests NON-ABS, but other photos have shown that NON-ABS brake boosters are considerably thicker. I could not edit the thread title.

Bought this a while back for the 7/8" to 15/16" upgrade (improved feel). The lines into the BMC need to be bent and OG Miata owners say the NA lines have enough slack for those modifications. You NEED the booster to go with it as NA boosters won't work with NB boosters (will have more links available).

Finally did 1.6L>1.8L rotors/pads upgrade but decided not to go with the BMC/BB/PROP VALVE upgrade as well (to finish the job asap). Rather not hold onto it at this point (relocating, minimizing baggage).

Photos:

Got lazy to do the extra work. =(

Typical reman BMC prices: $70-100
Typical NB booster prices: >$150
Prop Valve: $50+/-

typical used NB boosters are sold for $30-$40 bucks from the common used parts sellers (partsgroup, treasurecoast, etc.).

If you are willing to do it for around there, I will take the booster from you...

hmm, would rather not part out for now, unless i can find a buyer for at least the master cylinder as well. (i understand you have an NB, but MC and BB go hand in hand for a swap to an NA chassis, so I need to keep this option open for potential buyers)

prices are from google search, not sure of typical preferred miata used parts sellers. sorry.

bump... MASTER CYLINDER is NON-ABS due to 3 outlets (3rd just needs to be plugged) and BOOSTER seems to be ABS (since it is thinner). Online search notes that the NON-ABS brake boosters are the thicker versions... this picture was on miata.net

I bought my non-ABS master for $25 from a junkyard, and a brand spanking new Raybestos MC from Amazon for $50 shipped.

thanks for the input. offers are accepted, i just didn't want to initially split the booster and MC since it limits potential buyers coming from an NA chassis.

Oh, and FYI, here's a bit from Keith @ FM:

1990-00: 4.74:1 <- this is a bit approximate, as Mazda gives a range of output pressures as acceptable
2001-05 non-Sport and Sport with ABS, except for MSM: 9.7:1. Yes, that's about double. This booster is visibly fatter, and I suspect it has dual diaphragms inside instead of a single.
2001-05 Sport without ABS and MSM: 6.4:1
You have a 01-05 Sport & MSM non-ABS booster, which is the preferred booster, as it lets you mount a MC brace on a STB. The sport+ABS/non-sport booster is too thick.

Gotcha, so it's an NB2 Sport non-ABS master cylinder and brake booster. Thanks for confirming!

Must admit, when I saw the ratios, I figured the "2001-05 non-Sport and Sport with ABS" would be preferred.

Okay, how about $150 shipped via Priority Mail to 08035? I'm ready to do business.
