^ lol damn you have the same issue. My passenger one can be unlatched with zero locking. I might solder some lead onto the latch and fill in the worn down spot.

Drill, then tap 4-40 and install button head cap screw with loctite and nut.....that is my plan. Please report back how it works so I know if I should try it or not.....
