really?

The reason i ask is that It is written on the label " application: 99-00". Just to make sure

vitamin j 01-21-2014 11:48 PM

Doesn't look like it's pnp with anything looking at that harness.

I believe that harness is just for the VVT, because it did not exist on the 99-00.

Reverent, will it?

Reverant 01-22-2014 03:07 AM

100% PnP for the 99-00. The extra connector is for the additional inputs and outputs.

There are also PnP models for any car year, including the 03 that silvernb asked.

But this one here will only fit the 99-00 NB1.

Thank you sir.

As the 99/00 has no stock wiring for the VVT, I would imagine the VVT output is setup on the DB37 connector and you would have to run a couple wires?

If I hadn't already ordered one, I would have bought this :vash: GLWS mang!

BlackBandit 01-23-2014 12:24 AM

Wait so this will only work with a 99-00 nb1 motor? Nothing to do with a vvt motor correct? Harness for the nb1 is there?

Some people cannot read. It drives me insane.

BlackBandit 01-23-2014 12:28 AM

I'm making sure that it's all there. The first post is confusing making me think a vvt motor swap in nb1

aaronc7 01-23-2014 12:44 AM

the 99-00 wiring harness (what this one supports) won't have the 2 wires for the VVT solenoid-- you'll just have to run 2 of your own wires for that, which will connect to 2 of the wires you can see in the uploaded pic. If you have a 99-00 body/wiring harness, this is most likely what you want, whether nb1 or nb2 vvt engine.
