Rotella T6 (5W-40) at NAPA: $20 per gallon
Not quite as good a deal as the 2.5 Gallon jug at Walmart, but perhaps a bit more convenient in 1 gal containers:

The $5 rebate should work with this. No mail in requirement. Just upload receipt and type in info. I did 3 rebates buying through amazon and received each check in about a month.

Interesting. When I plugged my zip it only showed O'Riley and Autozone as eligible, but no NAPA or Walmart.
On a second note - there is so much conflicting information about T6 for Miatas. Some say it's best thing ever, others say it may make car smoke or kill catalytic converter... |

Mildly degrades catalytic converter performance by 80,000 miles at the ZDDP levels within it. Bobistheoilguy.com

I just had my 96 Miata, emissions tested in Sept 13, after 45K+ miles of Rotella 6. The car has 93K miles and I bought it with 46K miles 7 years ago. Car passed with flying colors, in fact it was about a third of the minimum to pass. I'll make sure to post the actual numbers sometime tomorrow. |
