Selling my laptop cheap
 

I bought a new(er) laptop on ebay. So my current Compaq 1200 is for sale. Yes, it has a serial port for Megasquirting. Asking $100 or b/o.

This is decent enough for tuning or for a cheap desktop replacement.

Specs: WinXP SP2; AMD K6 @ 498 MHz; 5.58 GB HD; 188 MB RAM; Internal CD; 5.25 FD.

So it’s not exactly cutting-edge. It does have a new battery which holds a charge for around an hour. I made sure it’s free of any malware.

Needs a new CMOS battery – it forgets the date/time and doesn’t like to boot properly unless the main battery is charged first.

LOL .... I meant 3.5 floppy, not 5.25. Big difference. :)
