If it was stock to the 95 M it is a 4.10 and type 1 torsen. A picture looking through the axle holes helps prove it's worth as a torsen (they just pop out but drain the fluid first)
looking closer, are the axles two piece? only 94-95 had two piece rear axles in the torsen 1

Damper doesn't guarantee it's a torsen. I've seen multiple open rear ends with the damper. I believe all manual transmission cars had the damper. Not trying to thread crap, just trying to get correct info out there...GLWS

meh... mines a manual, and doesnt have the damper. I know for sure the pre-94 1.6's had no damper. One of the guides says the rubber damper at the input signifies Torsen lsd... thats probably why he said that

When i get all the crap out the way I'll pop the axles....but its a torsen.
These newest NB is now 8+ years old....so you might not always find stuff as from the factory 100% of the time any more

yup... my VLSD is just an open diff now. Waiting for it to die. If for some reason you still have this (unlikely) by the time i have the extra cash, ill definitely buy it from you. Mine is running on borrowed time now...

I have a truck so I could probably stick it on a pallet and freight it for reasonable shipping.
