To be fair to them SVT is a sport model in the UK, i.e sport brakes, torsen, 6 spd.

Can someone enlighten me, are the actual master cylinders and brake boosters different than the normal (lets say, non-sport brake models) in the US?

Thank you, even though we (UK and USA) are generally speaking the same language, most of us in the USA have never heard of an S-VT or S/VT MX-5.

yes, there are many differences between the models. Caliper piston sizes, master cylinder sizes, brake booster ratios.
There are plenty of threads talking about the various aspects of this.
The short answer is this is a good deal for a factory sorted setup.
