PNP Emanage Ultimate Kit, Complete, SOLD
Considering moving on from my Emanage Ultimate to a stand alone ecu. Anyone interested in purchasing my EMU? It includes the emanage main unit, PNP harness kit for 90-93 (fully populated pnp harness), 4 bar MAP sensor (the official Greddy Pressuer Sensor), and Option 2 Plug (currently used for wideband o2 input). Also includes the box, software cd, and documentation.
I purchased the unit from forum member SBrian2 about a month ago. After I received the unit, I literally had the installation completed and the car running in a half hour. Plug the PNP harness into the factory ecu, then plug the other end of the harness into the EMU, then you're done, turn the key. Once you get the hang of the unit, removing the factory AFM is very easy to do, as is dropping in big injectors. My 91 with its original bone stock 1.6L is currently running 550cc injectors with the aid of this unit. Idle quality is pretty damn good, very smooth. But the wb o2 does show idle to be a bit rich from time to time (mid 13s:1). Othertimes, idle is at stoich. Closed loop cruise is always about stoich. So you may want to go no bigger than 460 cc injectors, unless you don't mind a little bit of richness at idle. Looking for $500 FIRM for the whole kit |
Hmm, i might be interested if you were to sell.
Got some other stuff floating around, but this sounds like a nice deal. (still need to read up more on emanage) |

OK, the EMU is for sale. $500 + shipping for the whole package. Money order or Add 3% for paypal fees.
I actually went with the Link. I know that it leaves power on the table compared to the Hydra, but I made the decision because it has a significantly lower initial buy-in, it can run my existing wideband, has substantial support from FM and a multitude of users, and because I can tweak on it with the in-car keypad instead of having the laptop in the car all the time. |
Sold
I'm actually having a bit of seller's remorse, but the EMU is sold. Thanks!
:lockd: |
Dang, my old EMU is greally getting around. I had seller's remorse too, but once your running (well) on the standalone, you will forget about it.
|
It's a NICE piece, so it's trully bittersweet.
The new owner's car is NA and he is going to dyno it after removing his AFM, so I'm excited to see his results... Did you get the bugs out of your Tec? |
Hey -
I'm the lucky new owner, thanks to Ben for all his patience with my stupid q's during the buying process. I don't know how long it will take me to get it up and running, but once it is - I will post before/after dyno's in the Emanage section. Thanks again - can't wait to try it out! - Mark |
