Torsen 3.9 Ratio from a 2003 6-speed car
4 Attachment(s)
I have a complete torsen swap minus axles from a 2003 car (6 speed), that according to the PO, had 3000 miles (yes, three thousand) before removed. This one has the 3.9 ratio. I just installed the matching transmission that came from the same car, but went with a different LSD. I have the pumpkin, housing and driveshaft, but no axles (you can probably get them for $100-125).
Looking for $925 shipped for pumpkin, housing and driveshaft. |
Pictures added.

Do you know why the housing was removed/replaced?
|
Not sure, but can it be the original one? It has 3,000 miles.
|
The permatex around it makes me think it was removed and replaced.

Uh.... your shit is bent.
The input shaft mating surface.... :ohnoes: Could probably bend it back, but its something the purchaser should know or you should fix before hand. |
Thanks. Did not notice that, or it just the way the picture is..

Car was in an accident, mounting arm from diff housing broke off at the stress relief notch, owner bought the housing and swapped the diff into it.
That's my speculation. Frank |
OK, just looked at it, and there is a slight bent, but could easily fixed with a simple screw driver.
|
Bump. $925 shipped.
|
Still a great price, especially since it includes shipping. Also, from a great seller.
I second Franks speculation, the diff I sold to Milton had the arm broken, and I got him another one. They are expensive btw. |
End of the week bump. Stil lthink it is a great price. Very hard to find these because they only came with the 6-speed and automatic versions. and this one really has low miles.
|
price is great, and they're rarer than you think (6spd only--not in autos)
