JL Audio 6" sub w/custom floorbrd enclosure SOLD!!
These subs are mounted in a custom molded fiberglass sealed enclosure. It is made to fit in the front floorboard of the passenger side of a NB Miata. Most likely will fit in an NA, but that is an uneducated guess and can be verified tomorrow if anyone is interested.
-They came with the car, figured someone might be interested in a little grounded bass with their tunes.
$50 obo + actual shipping costs (they're heavy)

so did this thing sound any good with the 6" subs? Thought about building one similar to that a while back but never got around to it.

Depends on how you like your bass. If you like your music to sound good with crisp bass then yes this is a good setup. If you want to rattle the heck out of your car and the neighborhood windows then no this is not the way to go. This enclosure is all figerglass and is of course sealed. If you wanted it to be louder you could make it ported i suppose. I personally enjoyed the deep bass but I just bought this car and it came with this stereo system in it. I'm getting rid of everything but the components in the doors and the 400w amp in the trunk. Speaking of that, anyone want a full Clarion 6" LCD stereo/DVD player with Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround?

I used to have an 8" sealed box on the pass floor with an ID8 in it. I liked that setup, was just curious how the 6"s handled the bass.

For the in dash stereo system as a whole I would take $300. That includes the deck, the "brain" computer for the stereo(which needs to be mounted in the trunk. The DVD player dash unit, w/ hard wired remote location controller which is shown in pictures. As well as the main harnesses for the units. Remotes as well. Check out the pictures and the system should make more sense. When i bought the car, the stereo on on top in the dash, the DVD player was below it, the brain on in the trunk in the front right corner. The remote controller for the DVD player had been mounted in the rear view mirror and the amp was in the trunk as well. It was a good setup but i used it for like 5 minutes then took it all out because i don't need the entertainment system.
