Default Arkmage Partout

Alright guys. I'm changing hobbies for a while and moving back to bicycles and motorcycles. Going to put the '97 back to stock and sell it. I'll still be around a little as we're keeping the wife's red '90.

These are the parts that are off the car right now. I'll post stuff as I get it removed over the next few weeks. Please post in the thread if you're interested and PM with offers.

ALL PHOTOS CAN ALSO BE SEEN ON MY FLICKR ACCOUNT. MX5 For Sale - a set on Flickr

2.25" ghetto rigged downpipe
I ran this downpipe for almost 20K miles before upgrading to a BEGI 3" pipe. This was originally made for a prelude and modified to fit the miata. It's difficult to install, looks like crap, and has a mix of stainless and aluminized steel. Basically, if you're on an extreme budget it works. My first dyno run was 213whp with this pipe. Price is due to the wastegate flange value mostly.

PRICE: $SOLD

firecharger suppression system
This has only been out of the box to read the instructions and to take pictures. I never even opened the bags for the tubing, fittings, etc. Sells new for $300 + shipping. I'll sell for SOLD.

M-Tuned Dual Feed Fuel Rail
Another one that was never installed... I bought it and gathered fittings and then just stalled. Comes with the rail, original fasteners, the brass adapter thingy, NPT>Jic Fittings for the ends, JIC/JIC swivel elbows so you can position the hoses fittings at each end of the rail, stainless braided hydraulic line rated for fuel/methanol and 3K psi, re-usable jic hose ends, and a variety of tee fittings and other stuff to figure out plumbing. All fittings are 316SS and industrial 37* flare instead of automotive 45* flare (AN fitting). This is nearly $75 in fittings.

Price: SOLD

Flyin Miata Turbo Duals 2.5" exhaust
This came with the wife's NA miata. Sounded terrible without a turbo and my car already has the enthuza 3". The previous owner cut the tips off so plan to add your own. I have no idea what this will cost to ship, I'm going to guess around $45 do to the weight/size. Asking $175 obo + actual shipping

Also have a 6 speed transmission that needs to be rebuilt (output shaft won't spin in neutral) available locally for $150

3" Enthuza Ceramic Cat $125 +shipping obo used for about a year.

3" Enthuza Cat-Back $350 + shipping obo PENDING This is the budget turbo racer 3" exhaust. There is a crack near the front mounting peg as shown in the photos. It will nee to be welded up before installation but should be a minor thing. I think it was caused by my old worn the hell out hanger rubbers. BRYCE HAS FIRST DIBS.

Turbo XS Boost Manual Boost Controller (bleeder type) $SOLD not much to say here except this is the only boost controller I tried (out of 4 including an electronic) that could keep my from over boosting after went to divorced wastegate 3" downpipe.

Bell T3 inlet tube and K&N Filter $35 shipped obo the filter can go directly onto the tube or put the MAF between to pass emission.

Bell T3 Manifold $275 shipped obo Setup for '99/'00 style EGR, includes a custom EGR tube that will fit up to a '96/'97 for those pesky emissions locations. The EGR tube is a stock '97 and stock '99 cut and welded together to make it fit. Manifold comes with 10mm studs and new nuts and nordlock washers. Also comes with one of my exhaust studs that won't come out because the nut is jammed on it.

T3 Turbo w/ SS Braided Lines $100 + shipping This turbo is still pretty tight for a journal bearing turbo. I rebuilt it before I installed it 35K miles ago. T3 50 trim Compressor with a .48 A/R Turbine, 5 bolt ford/saab/volvo exhaust, standard 4 bolt inlet. MAXES OUT AROUND 250whp, I don't recommend it past 230 whp. Does not include block fittings.

Intercooler Kit $200 + Shipping obo Includes HKS BOV, t-bolt clamps, silicone couplers, etc. Has a bung near TB for GM IAT Sensor. Has a ghetto TB bypass system on it also, but nobody can see it as it tucks under the tube. This system rubs a bit on the hotside, but I'd redo the hotside anyways as it required cutting the hood which sucks. Cold side is groovy Intercooler is the "standard" ebay unit with a mount that seems to have held up great for the last 2.5 years.

RX7 Clutch Type LSD $125 shipped obo Bought this, tore it apart for inspection, then never installed it. All the discs are in spec and look good, it's been sitting on my work bench a while but I mist it with oil every once in a while to keep it from getting crusty. Likely will need to be taken apart to clean the dust out of it before install. If shipped I'm keeping to ring gear to reduce shipping costs. This is just the center section... no housing!

Solid Diff Mounts $SOLD I don't remember what brand these are, never installed, I'm the 2nd person to buy and sell without ever putting them in the car. 3rd time's a charm?

Sorry. Everything is off of a '97 1.8L except the flyinmiata duals they are off a '90 1.6L.

Downpipe is flanged for a T3 (ford/saab 5 bolt pattern). Downpipe also has the flapper built into the flange. Also note that the v-band is welded together as the steering column clearance is terrible and there wasn't enough room for the clamp.

Bryce is first in line on the dual feed. I'll do $90 local pick-up on it so I don't have to deal with packaging.
