Default Air Conditioning system, complete, from 1996 Miata, some new parts

Was going to reinstall the AC with new parts, but decided not to. New reman compressor, compressor engine bracket, brand new condenser in box, brand new drier, all the hoses and fittings, evaporator from the interior, bag of fittings, everything but the HVAC button on the dash. Willing to part out. $250 for the whole deal.

Any idea if this is good for a 91 miata?

Friend was going to put it on his girlfriend's 91, but they broke up so he doesn't want it. I am not 100% sure it will fit, but a little searching would probably confirm.

If you're willing to part out as you state; how much for just the compressor?

Thanks,

Rafa

bumpity for a GREAT deal.

yes, this will fit into a '91. the only diff is the compressor used r12 and all > 95s were pre-fitted with evap as part of the DOT crash safety.

Thanks for confirming for me. I didn't get a chance to call Mazda Motorsports to find out. However, I do have a download schematic of the a/c system in an NA and it doesn't appear to differentiate between the early and later NA style car, but yea you're right about the R12/R134 thing.

In order for this to fit into a 91, you have to reuse the pressure sensor CONNECTOR from the 91. Cut the pressure sensor connector off from the 90-93 line and cut the pressure sensor connector off the 94+ line. Attach the pressure sensor connector from the 90-93 onto the pressure sensor to the 94+ line and viola, bolt on.
