Hi,
Does the Begi manifold fit on a basic Greddy kit for a 1.6 engine? If so, I'd like to buy this off you. Thanks

Braineack 08-14-2006 02:19 PM

That particular manifold is made for a T3 turbo. Not only will the turbo not fit, neither will the downpipe.

If you're looking for a replacement GReddy manifold look here:

i just gave cyber auto a call for the replacement Greddy manifold and they want $263 and core for the manifold....Judging from the past comments on this board and current price, I thought I would find a better replacement in the $300-$400 range, but there doesn't seem to be any....Thanks again for the info.

Braineack 08-14-2006 03:08 PM

This is about $450:

it seems that there is nothing cheaper than $400 based on all the seaches that I've conducted on this forum and Miata.net.....i guess I'll have to put the greddy install on hold until I can either replace my current manifold through Greddy or shell out the money and buy one from ETD, Begi, etc. Again thanks for the feedback!

coastertrav 08-14-2006 04:30 PM

also the Begi manifold is for a 1.8L

coastertrav 08-20-2006 02:21 AM

Bizzump, also I have an Enthuzacar XL-R lightweight series exhaust - axel back for an NB.

The BEGI manifold, is it the one that they just released? Or the older style one.

coastertrav 08-20-2006 07:42 PM

It's a new one, I bought it at the special price, and now I'm sellin the miata so it was never used. I just want to get my money back on it. I don't believe the sale is still going on, but I may be wrong.
