Turbo & Tial BOV

i am selling my Turbo and my BOV. i dont know the mileage on either of these items. purchased them about a month ago with the intent of putting together a turbo system but plans have changed. the turbo is in great shape but only comes with what is on it in the picture(it came like that when i bought it). the turbo does not have any shaft play.

the bov is a Tial but does not have the flange. again only comes with what is in the picture.

i believe the turbo is from a nissan since it has a flange for a hotpipe on the inlet housing. so im guessing its a T25

I will never be nice to you again on this forum. I went out of my way to compliment your stuffs based upon personal experience/triumph and you return the favor with an ultimatum? This is why you'll die a virgin.

then don't jack your own thread. Now, back to the sale or I'm going to lock this thread up and ban the next person who pisses me off.

dkgmiata 11-22-2009 11:47 AM

:cry:hustler please do not take my last post directed at you as it was not. i was merely asking you what e-thugging was and the last comment was directed at p51hellfire. so please dont take it towards you. i thank you for your comment and recognized it as that. again i was talking to p51hellfire. sorry!!!

Silicone Intakes used to sell an inexpensive stainless tee fitting that worked with the Tial similar to this:
T-pipe
I have one for the Tial on my car, nice piece for the price. I do not see it on their web site any more but I'll bet someone sells them still.

dkgmiata 11-22-2009 12:06 PM

Thanks. hopefully its sells quick. thanks

Thanks for clearing this up. I'm a sensitive man and merciful leader. It will take time for the wounds to heal, but I think we can repair our relationship.

:makeout:

dkgmiata 11-22-2009 12:21 PM

Welcome man. definitely want to stay in good relations with everyone on this forum. :naughty:

Rennkafer 11-22-2009 12:46 PM

Looking at your pics, I don't think that's a T25. If it is, it's not anything like the SR20DET T25 I have... maybe a T28?

Good luck with the sale... if I wasn't looking for a recirc'd bypass rather than a BOV I'd jump on that Tial.

I have a sard bov, hooked up for recirc. If you buy this, I'll trade you and I'll give u alil on top...??

JerryMouse4U 11-22-2009 02:22 PM

If its a T25 that fits a T2 flange, I know some one looking for one so he can put it on his greddy manifold.

Sokool 11-22-2009 02:26 PM

That turbine housing looks way to big to be t25. It look like a t3 ford style to me but its hard to tell with out knowing some dimensions. What are the specs on the turbine? Can you make out an A/R or casting #? I'm definitely interested in possibly purchasing.

dkgmiata 11-22-2009 02:38 PM

ya i can get that stuff when i get home for ya. at work right now but will update post in a couple hours. thanks

zoomin 11-22-2009 02:48 PM

To help the seller. That is a "ford" style t3 with either a .48 or .63 turbine housing and .60 compressor housing, price is a bit high but it is a good turbo. Do you have the actuator and flapper housing? Oil drain?

JerryMouse4U 11-22-2009 02:52 PM

How sure are you about, that. It does look like a t25 of a SR20DET, flange looks really close to a T2.

dkgmiata 11-22-2009 02:54 PM

cool. thanks man really appreciate it that should help out people who are looking as well.
na all i have is what is pictured. pm me offers.

zoomin 11-22-2009 02:55 PM

want a picture of the 5 t3's I have on the shelf? not to brag, but I do have a clue about turbos.

Sokool 11-22-2009 02:56 PM

A t25 has the flapper built into the turbine housing. A "ford style" T3 requires a separate housing to make it internally gated.

JerryMouse4U 11-22-2009 02:57 PM

Just wanna make it clear cause I have a friend intrested in it, please show me the photo.

dkgmiata 11-22-2009 02:59 PM

thanks for all the info guys

dkgmiata 11-22-2009 02:59 PM

pleas do post pics!!

R2D2 or Racing? and why go to the Tial over the Sard?

@DKG if it helps here's a pic of my T25 off an SR20DET, you can see how much different it is...

dkgmiata 11-22-2009 03:18 PM

ya i see. so this is a ford style t3 then?

JerryMouse4U 11-22-2009 03:21 PM

Thank you Sir, hey Rennkafer what kind of flage is on your turbo.

ARTech 11-22-2009 03:32 PM

Yes, it came stock on turbo t-birds, svo mustangs and merkurs. Also refered to as a super 60.

$175 does seem a little high unless it was just rebuilt. Are you sure there's NO play? FYI, new turbos have some degree of radial play which is normal, but if it doesn't have any end to end play, I may be interested.

dkgmiata 11-22-2009 03:37 PM

ahh. ya ive heard of the Super 60 before then. ya no shaft play at all. ill triple check when i get home but it didnt feel to have any play at all end to end. ya man just pm me a price.

Mine is an SR20DET T25 (fromt a Nissan W10 Avenir) so it's a T2 type flange on the hot side. Cold side has a slip on hose connector on the inlet and a bolt-on flange on the outlet.

I find it very interesting that you are trying to sell a turbo that you know absolutely nothing about. What was your selling price based on?

dkgmiata 11-22-2009 04:03 PM

well they were based on me thinking it was a t25. since its not thats why i said shoot me offers.

zoomin 11-22-2009 04:06 PM

does the turbine housing have a .48 or .63 a/r on it?

dkgmiata 11-22-2009 04:12 PM

im at work right now so like i said i will update the post when i get home later. thank you guys for your inquiries and clearing things up a bit. like i said i dont know the history of these items nor very much about them.my previous guess on them was wrong and thank you for clearing that up. post will be updated later.

idk just my input on the price matter...

i have an sr20 T25 that i will be trying to sell soon (the Garrett one that says M24 on the comp. housing). mine is internally gated also, with the bolt on flanges on the comp. housing. mine isn't an a/r:60 though, i actually can't recall what it is.

in NC, most people seem to be selling t25's rebuilt for 200 obo, and just straight used for 150-175 obo.

dkgmiata 11-22-2009 04:30 PM

^thanks

The hotside is .63. Intake housing is .60

zoomin 11-23-2009 12:15 AM

So you said there is no shaft play or in and out movement? That sounded so perverted

p51hellfire 11-23-2009 03:59 AM

R2D2 or Racing? and why go to the Tial over the Sard?

dkgmiata 11-23-2009 07:31 PM
