Default Feeler: R-Compound Tires for Sale. 205/15/R15 Toyo RA-1 and R888

I'm out of town for work, but wanted to gauge some interest in some spares I have laying around.

I have two sets:
1) 205/50R15 Toyo RA-1's, mounted on Rota GT-3 15x7 -40mm offset 4x100. Tires still have a bit of tread pattern left. For dry and HPDE, that is a lot of life left. Tires have 1 dry HDPE, 1 wet Spec Miata race, 4 auto-x races, and about 1500 miles of street. Wheels are black with polished lip. Still true and in good shape. Garage stored. $550? + shipping

2) 205/50R15 Toyo R888, unmounted. Got these off of a Spec Miata racer (they are going back to RA-1's this year). These tires saw ~2-3 races, according to previous owner. Garage stored. $200? + shipping

I'm looking to upgrade to 15x8's on 225 wide tires, so I'd be willing to negotiate some sort of trade + compensation. Parts are located near Detroit, MI. Can get pics up in about 3 weeks, next time I'm back home.

Fat fingered and accidentally marked as sold. Parts still available. (bump)

How good or bad would it be to run the R888's on a street only car? Kickass, or dumb idea?

Hmm... the tires will hydroplane in wet (slicks), will probably last you ~3000 miles if you drive them 'til they cord, and you shouldn't drive them below 32F.

Temp wouldn't be an issue, but I figured the rain would.

Still have the Toyo RA1s? Got any pics of the tread? I'm local.

Thanks.
