Various 99-00 Head Parts

I got an '00 cylinder head off of a Miata that had a rod coming out of the oil pan, so I have some parts I don't need, mileage is unknown, and parts are sold as is:

OEM Red Injectors - $35/shipped
Coil Pack - SOLD
EGR Valve - $25/shipped
EGR Hard Tube - SOLD
Fuel Rail - $20/shipped

Eric,
that's the 00 coil pack? Save it for me please.

Really good prices! 99-00 owners all probably should have an extra (clean) EGR valve and tube to go in when that damn CEL comes on.

Yeah. Or unhook the oil supply that goes to the intake manifold and it will stop getting dirty. :) (PCV valve)

Really?? It's oil that gets in there and gums up the works, I thought it was carbon.

RotorNutFD3S 11-16-2008 08:24 PM

Ben, coil pack is yours.

If what I read today is right, the EGR and tube is the same for 99+.
This one has some light carbon deposits in it, but no oil that I can tell...

I may be posting up the intake manifold/throttle body, but that's dependent on when BEGi finishes their turbo intake manifold and releases it for sale.

Yeap, typical 99-00 intake manifolds are black and nasty inside from oil accumulation. Mine at 111K was pathetic and had a EGR CEL, among others... Cleaned the valve, tube, intake manifold, and unhooked the breather from the intake and PCV from the intake manifold and vented them to atmosphere. 1.5 years later I pulled the intake manifold and it's still perfectly clean as it was. I also removed the EGR tube and blocked it off, and the tube was still pretty damn clean.

RotorNutFD3S- I may be interested in that 99' manifold. Really, I only want the top half, but I doubt you'll wanna part it out.

RotorNutFD3S 11-16-2008 11:10 PM

I can attest to that much. The intake manifold had a good amount of oil in it, but not the EGR. Maybe it was lower miles like they said.

If I sell it, I'm only going to ask $50 + shipping. It has the solenoid and actuator too.

I'd be interested in that intake manifold if you still have it.

Any chance you got the Throttle Body off that car as well?

RotorNutFD3S 11-21-2008 09:31 AM

I have both. As I stated before, they are not for sale until BEGi releases their new manifold.

Oh OK. I was looking to port a stock one as a stopgap till Begi releases the new manifold myself.

RotorNutFD3S 11-21-2008 10:39 AM

Ah, gotcha. Well depending on if the head is any good or not, which I will know more about tomorrow, I may sell them then as well. Lots of variables at the moment. :)

Still have the injectors, fuel rail, and EGR valve if anyone is interested.
